One thing i wish they did was when you are getting to Hanakos float Goro talks about going nomad I would have loved to have a way to convince him to join you in that ending so essentially he would assault saka hq with you, panam, mitch, saul and the caldos and leave NC with you as a caldo i could just imagine him wearing a long sleeve shirt with the sleeves rolled up, long down hair like saul, jeans with cowboy boots and shiny belt, dual underarm holsters with revolvers, sniper on his back, fingerless gloves with kickass shades driving a motorbike. I just really like the character of Goro the whole honorable samurai esque in a futuristic world while also being a good man is awesome.
the aldecaldos really are dumb bastards. after helping them so much they just flip you off, especially panam who got the emotional stability of a 12 year old…
I like to think that V ended up being ok being a face in the crowd. Maybe he went to Pittsburgh to visit Judy for a little bit, maybe made his way to Poland and stayed with Misty to get away lile she did. I like to think he took the job with Reed and found a way to get into a routine that made him happy. Of course the hurt will never go away but I want to think V is happier knowing his life is not on a timer and has an opportunity to live a normal life, earn a paycheck, make new friends, start a life with no bullshit. That's the only positive outlook I see in this ending. V is resilient and strong headed so I believe he could adapt.
Dex's quote was an actually really smart one, and dying ripe old and smelling slightly of urine feels really bad. I think either giving in to Johnny or going with the nomads are the best endings. I always play a nomad and both end sort of nomady, the Johnny one plays into your friendship, and in that scenario, V dies "sort off", and Johnny straight up gets to live another life, one that I'm pretty sure he won't waste, considering his best friend died to give it to him, he's 23 again and ready for a new start.
I don't get the panam ending. Like yeah she's gonna be hurt but at the same time she knew v had limited time, she knew he was dying, so if he disappeared for 2 years she would figure he's dead. And then to find out he's alive should not only make her feel shocked but also curious as to what the hell happend.
Huh, think this ending helped me realize that if you ain't the type of person to settle down then for people like you there's a difference between living and just existing. Makes you wonder if you actually prefer to live on borrowed time on your own terms and by your own code. Suddenly The Star and The Sun feel like proper good endings even if in those endings, despite the small chance of finding a cure, V will likely die.
Some people prefer going out on their own terms over a life that seems little more than just existing. I think my V's like that too.
This is for me with no question the worst ending. Even worse than the death on the roof ending. We are assholes with the suicid-end, but we die as V! Its even better to die in the arasaka-ending, because in this end V is not anymore V! The only little sunshine is that Judy has now a live outside NC with a wife..but the pain in my V-Version when Judy says that she should stay out of her live…to much…
Fun fact – V still has the Relic 2.0's blueprints and full project documentation. And seeing how Mikoshi is still around and working in this version of the ending, that tech is worth literal billions.
I think siding with reed and killing songbird is more enjoyable in terms of gameplay, but narratively, letting songbird go to the moon is the better outcome. In terms of final endings, this is one of the worst ones out of all of em.
I'd like to think V became a fixer of some sorts. Sure he's just a normie now but maybe with biotech and training, he can somewhat be lethal again just maybe no longer the one man army he remembered. That or he can dissappear for good, make it seem like he got flatlined mid op and become a legend.
ok wtf? why does v have to always have a bad ending? he lives just be be in a 2 year coma and lose almost all his friends? in fact the whole thing about panam was ridiculously stupid v could had told panam about the surgery before going and warning her that if something happens she should know he loves her at least that way panam would had thought v died and didn't abandoned her which will hurt her and made her morn him but at least not make her hate him or either visit v in the hospital learning of his coma or being preplanned by v if something happened for her and his friends to be informed at least that way when V wakes up everyone would had cried tear of joy knowing he is alive i mean it feels like wasted opportunity just imagine panam seen V right in front of her after 2 years of missing him she would had exploded with joy that would had been the perfect ending
While absolutely tear-jerking, for sure, there are more than a few logical issues with this ending :D. Namely, there's no fucking way V wouldn't tell her friends and her lover exactly where and why she was going. What, Reed asked her to keep it a secret? Who the fuck cares about what Reed asks? Plus, the entire thing being insanely rushed – what, V gets put to sleep right onboard AV and taken straight into the operation without any pre-OP examinations, without signing a fuckton of paperwork? That's just not how a government works, lol.
And Panam never calls😢
Uh, so… If you kill Reed, and then pick the old suicide ending, does Alex call you and abuse you for fucking up her final FIA job?

The best end credits in any video game ever made.
panam rlly had her guy friend answer Vs call L romance
Viktor is such a king
Makes you wonder if this was the "Quiet Life" Dex was willing to shoot us over
is there one for Judy?
Better than Devil ending but worse than the others. Reed still doesn't get it at the end huh, a dog to the NUSA 'til the very end.
It fascinates me how a large majority believe that it is better to die than to live as a normal person with opportunities for the future.
