Renfail sits down to talk about his final review of Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 and the Phantom Liberty DLC. A cultural masterpiece, the game has completely transformed since its launch three years ago, and CD Projekt Red deserves every bit of praise they receive for transforming the game into what it is today: one of the greatest single player RPGs of all time.

  1. Thank you. Literally no other game makes me to play it wwhen I come from work and stop when I go to sleep. I played 200+ hours since 2.0, cleared the whole map and guess what. I keep coming back and do car missions, dogtown events and tweak new builds. I simply love this game.

  2. I also played around 300 hours of Starfield before coming back to Cyberpunk and I was blown away with the 2.0 update. So, I bought Phantom Liberty and I have to say CDPR really put some love into the game. Big comeback for them. I have three saves: corpo, street kid, and nomad. Each a different playstyle and I will try to get different endings for each. I just marvel at the open world design of NIght City. What is crazy is that there is still potential there for more missions and buildings to be explored. I wish the base game had a way to climb up to the tops of buildings and explore…sneak in through windows like mission: impossible. I think there are mods for that but I am on Xbox series x.

  3. I enjoyed it as a completly linear story when it launched and it was an 8.5 (PC). 2.0 + Phantom Liberty made it an easy 10/10. Thank god for EU devs and grown up stories, characters and situations. I'm so bored with the YA nonsense NA devs churn out these days.

  4. I played over 200 hours of this game on PS5 at the end of last year. There were some bugs, but I loved it and it was hard to leave the game to go to a new game, Diablo IV. After I complete BG3, I'm going back to Night City, starting fresh as a Corpo Rat this time! One of my favorite games of all time!

  5. Great review man. I agree. It really is something special. It encourages you you to replay it over and over. I have it for the series x, but I saw how it looks on a high end PC. It really is incredible. Hope I can get one someday. They totally deserve a second chance and like I said, it’s incredible. One of the best of all time. Nothing quite like it. Bravo, they finally got it right with this one.

  6. New to your channel, I stumbled across this and absolutely. This is my favorite game up to this point, I've completed at least 4 times, and I still find new things or can't find things I know I've seen before. The characters are so real. After a time away, I come back, and it feels good to be back in Night City. Definitely get the other apartments! They all bring something to the table. Personal fave is Heywood, just up from Mama Welles' Coyote Cojo! I know it was so broken at first, but I have been devoted to CDPR since the first Witcher game, and I trusted them to put it right. I think they did. Thanks for this review!

  7. Releasing in 2020 instead of 2023 was the dumbest thing this studio ever could have done. It's so wierd to that they did this when they were not hurting for money after the Witcher 2, Witcher 3, and Gwent and had no publisher forcing their hand. They could have released a game if it released with the content of PL and the 2.0 update that was on the level of a GTA game in sales and scope. It would have shook the industry as no one truly can typically touch Rockstar in level of detail and size in an openworld game.

  8. Great video. I played Cyberpunk on PS5 from day one and loved it.
Started a second play through this week and fell back in love with this game. Phantom liberty is absolutely amazing as well.

Makes me sad that there won’t be any new DLC, but I’ll be patient and wait for the sequel
