Hello, Juliette! I cannot do much this day, but start and stop the video, which seems rude, after all the work you've put into producing it. Whilst there is only algorithmic advantage to you, my foolish reboot has been very interesting to me. I wonder why the unique weapon Sir John Phallustiff wasn't in the No-Tell Motel room after encounter with Stout. Instead, just a basic stunstick.
Unfortunately I'll have to pause my viewing of this lets play for now. I've not had the time to continue my own playthrough, and you're passing the point that I've currently played up to.
Hopefully I'll be able to catch up at some point but if not, have fun and I'll catch you on the next playthrough Juliette.

Remember when you were in the car with Dex, and he mentioned attempting to do a background check on Evelyn to see if he wanted to take on her job? And how after asking around the Voodoo Boys sent him a warning to not look any further into her?
The accent is Jamaican/Haitian/Creole, from the Caribbean Islands. In Cyberpunk Lore, the islands were completely destroyed due to climate disasters, and many of the refugee population that survived made their way to Night City, where they set up their own communities. The gang associated with the refugees is the Voodoo Boys.
I think Judy is nervous about you going to Pacifica. Regarding some Pacifica Lore. In the base game, we are limited in the space of Pacifica that we have access to, though it is expected to be much more explorable in the Expansion coming out soon. Even though it is technically in Night City Boundaries, Night City claims to disavow Pacifica as not part of Night City in an attempt to make their pad their crime stats. As violent as Night City is, where 100's of homicides reported a day is considered peaceful, it is so very much worse in Pacifica, where it is complete and truly violent Anarchy. For the majority of Pacifica (not accessible in the base game- again we are granted access to only a small peaceful portion of it), unless you grew up in it and survived to adulthood while living in it, entering it is a death sentence, and the only people who survive in Pacifica, do so because they absorb and exemplify the worst of all other aspects of Night City Society. I mean to say, the average person that barely manages to stay alive in Pacifica is as Chromed up as Maelstrom, as steroid and drugged up as the Animals (whom you may or may not have encountered, depending on the gigs you have taken), as isolationist and untrusting and self-reliant as the Voodoo Boys, as sociopathic as the Scavs (whom you saw harvesting organs or making XBDs of torture and murder of their victims), as vengeful as the Tyger Claws, as greedy and backstabbing as the Corpos, the list goes on and on. It is a good bet that Cyberpsychos will be found with much more regularity than you will find in Night City itself.
There is a poster of the Comedian somewhere in the city, halfway up a stairway by one of the streets, and he does look like Takemura.
Brenden has a very good reason for claiming to not be sentient. Sentient AIs are scrutinized very closely by Netwatch, who look for any reason to eliminate AIs in general.
Takemura's such a good character. I'm all onboard with Johnny's death-to-Arasaka crusade, but not Goro. Goro's cool.

You can do it in the middle of the street. Much faster. Just open your menu. Left below you see the time. Just skip 24 hours. That works always. 👍

I like collecting all the unique outfits and weapons that are hidden around the map and I think the only way you can get that baton is by agreeing to the whole one-night-stand thing with Meredith which I hated. I don't even like her as a character and didn't want my V anywhere near her haha
As soon as you sided with Meredith, I was waiting for you to get here, HAHAHAHA!!!!!!! In the non-PG version, the weapon is eve better!!!

The appearance/outfit system wasn't actually in the game on launch. It was a welcome addition. One of my favorite little character notes about Takemura is that he's horrible with technology and any time he texts you it's like interacting with your grandpa who doesn't know how to work Facebook. Also, I can't believe the biggest hunk in the game so far for you has been Brendan, haha. Another fun episode.

I'll just mention that you should consider QianT Sandevistan mk 4 when you can. With heatsink mods you get a 4 second spammable bullet time that lets you kill anything without them even knowing you were there. I also prefer monowire over the blades: not as cool, but I feel the damage output and range are more consistent, and you get an aoe effect.

Yes, this was a fun episode after the last one. A lot of humour and overall more lighthearted. Of course you put in a lot of hours, it's an interesting game! I guess both V and Meredith needed a bit of R&R, so no talking necessary. Things are a bit… spicier.. in the more "mature" version of the game, but it's easier on YouTube when you turn that stuff off.
By the way, am I the only one who thinks Mr. Hands sounds and talks like Stan S. Stanman (the colourful salesman) in Monkey Island? Juliette probably knows who I'm talking about.
