Sadly I'd say you're just reaching the character of Rogue has been around for a lot longer than the mass effect universe, and in the end they both just fill the archetype of the "Fixer".
Probably the other way around. At least as much as I gathered from the other comments. Cyberpunk Afterlife seems to have already existed in the pen and paper RPG the game is based on.
Wether the CDPR guys winking back on purpose with the delivery, noticing ME had a reference to their source material or that's just came out like that regardless is debatable.
Could be a case of convergent evolution, similar thought processes between two different developers led to the same conclusion, wouldn't be the first time i saw it.
There is a refarane to Mass Effect 1 that Aria is Aleena from Wrecks story. And now a sudo refarance in Cyberpunk, if this Rouge was named Aleena , well that would have been obvious.
Well it could be a subtle reference. But the Afterlife club existed in Cyberpunk 2020 back in the '90s and Rogue was a skilled 'solo' aka Merc back then. So her character progressed into being a Fixer the top fixer and owner of the Afterlife club. The hub of Night City where Mercs come to get jobs and be somebody.
So it could be a reference or just a huge coincidence.
You getting really close to 10k
Rouge is basicly a copy paste of Arias character 🙂
Nice video
Thunk

I dont know.. Maybe. That being said, to me that role fits Aria way better than it fits Rogue.
What’s your favorite gun? That you always show using
might be reaching a bit, but I won't deny there aren't similarities here.
"I should go" lol
I should go. Well bang ok?

Rogue never got one-upped by Mordin Solus, the Salarian who broke Omega's one rule, in more ways than one!
Cyberpunk actually works now?
Oh yea absolutely, and both are references to Ching Shih
in cyberpunk there are even 2 guys who are not let in. Like that dude in mass effect
Similarities are definitely strong, but the phrase is kinda reach
