The anime really makes you appreciate how overpowered V becomes by the end of the game.
Keep in mind that the only other person to ever beat Adam Smasher in a straight up 1v1 was Morgan Blackhand and even then he didn't kill Smasher.

Expected everyone else but Rebecca took me off guard, a fitting end for that big metal boy
One thing I will say – Johnnys theme should NOT have played during this ending. They shouldve used Vs theme (same as with the Panam ending) but upped the tempo a bit.
This ending and Panams are about V taking control. If V is a coward and lets Rogue and Johnny solve their problem then Rebel Path fits.
Arasaka ending I wont even get into as thats the definitive bad ending.
However awesome Rebel Path is its for Johnny not V.

Yeah, so edgerunner was pointless. They really should have just left cyberpunk alone. CD project red ruim it and they can choke on their cash grab anime.
I believe that when one dies, their soul attaches itself to the most important thing to them. It could be a piece of jewelry, a book, even a DVD.
For Rebecca it was GUTS. She carried it into battle and slaughtered her foes with it. With her death, her soul attached itself to GUTS.
Everytime that gun fires at Adam, Rebecca is killing the man who took her life away.
