I enjoyed that in this DLC johnny doesnt fully disagree with your decisions, even saying he doesn't know who to choose between Reed and So Mi, since this situation is toi fucked up to see it as something between good vs bad, hell, he said it himself
So mi is a walking nuke that can blow up anytime and who also feels bad even though she has done some extremely dubious stuff and the NUSA are just as bad
The title is misleading, it's clear he did want to save songbird but by sending her to the moon. This is definitely what many would consider the renegade ending. The game itself even punishes you with the most depressing ending for selling her out.
Giving Songbird to Myers is not saving her. Its one of the worst things the game lets you do to someone, in eithed the main game or the DLC. No wonder Silverhand is pissed!
I killed Somi. I told Johnny I didn't want her to become Myers' laboratory rat et he praised me
