There is a way to get the katana after that mission but it require that you go to the elevator located in megabuilding HB in westbrook japan town, and take it up to 12 clouds. You then take a turn to the left when you get out of elevator and just keep going in that direction until your at the end of the build go out of the window, be carefull not do fall down from there then you take a left from the glowing sign. If you look down from there you should be able to see are yellow fire escape stair, you just go down from there, make sure to shoot when you get down, so you have a way to get backup. But when your down there you shall then just move forward, until you see a closed window to the right and opening it. and BOOM you are in
If you wait till you are like level 30+ before getting satori it will have around 800 dps when you pick it up. When you craft it to legendary and upgrade it a few times it will be showing about 1200 dps. This combined with its 85% crit chance and 600% crit damage means its the best katana by a colosal margin. Its effective dps when factoring in crit damage is more like 6k

I feel like this Katana ain't worth it. I have satori (the iconic katana you get in the heist) and i feel like its much better. Especially since it has like 500% crit
