  1. I completely disagree with u on almost everything u said lol rhe writing and the combat is better than any other open world game in recent memory man.. ur criticisms r kinda baffling.. when compared to other open world games, where will u find better combat n writing? I mean sure the game isn’t perfect, but man ur reaching for some of these criticisms

  2. Great video, I’ve always loved cyberpunk after giving it a second chance last year. I would kill to play the game completely unknowingly of the plot and everything, it brought me an experience that I could compare to playing gta v for the first time, plus emotion. 10/10

  3. On the immersion point, I would actually argue the opposite. The fact that you can experience such a somber and gut-wrenching moment as Evelyn's death then immediately find dick guy to me is just representative of the depraved and almost lawless nature of night city. All around the place while real people are suffering and losing, just around the corner will be another idiot. If anything I kind of feel like the silly moments enhance the gravity and seriousness of the big events within the story, its kind of hard to put into words tbh. Kind of a 'Night City waits for no one vibe'.

  4. As good as some people think this game is (and I personally don't) I find that Deus Ex so clearly did almost every element of Cyberpunk 2077 already and in a much better way. Like, not even that I just prefer it, it was factually better by such an outstandingly huge margin. xD That was the most shocking thing I found when playing the game.

P.S. : this was a really well made video and a lot of the points made a lot of sense. even tho i still love playing cyberpunk and cant wait to see what the new dlc is like, i still see a lot of the issues that are mentioned in this video and they do kinda take me out of the love i have for the game when i notice them.

  6. beautiful work, it's just sad what cd did to cyberpunk, don't get me wrong, i loved it when i played. But i really want to play the cyberpunk that was promised to us back then, no bugs, a more alive city, true rpg mechanics. A good thing it is the modding community that does all kind of mods for the lacking stuff ingame or even reworking whole mechanics to fill that gap. Let's see if the dlc can fill some of the gaps.

  7. Cyberpunk at launch was agreeably a disaster. I pre-ordered the game on PC and couldn't play more than 4 hours of it. After getting into other cyberpunk genre games like Ghostrunner and Turbo Overkill I was still feeling that itch for Cyberpunk.

After the anime Edgerunners and the 1.51 patch for Cyberpunk i decided to give it another go. Since then I've been hooked on the game. Now with 4 hundred hours and multiple playthroughs i still find myself loving the game. I especially love the feeling of strolling Night City and the combat of the game. But i do still admit that the game feels shallow in some areas. Mainly the classes not being as vital to one's character as i was hoping, some ways on engaging combat feel very underpowered whilst some feel too overpowered and many other things.

I've taken the liberty of modding the game and i can confidently say that my current modded version is the only one that I'd play anymore. I'm really hoping that CDPR address some of the issues in the DLC. Mainly some combat aspects like enemies feeling too spongy and melee combat feeling a bit off. And of course vehicle combat and police chases. And maybe some attribute balances and perks in some skill trees being changed.

I never knew how much i loved the Cyberpunk genre and i most definitely need to try some of the Deus Ex games and other ones too. Really hoping that CDPR aren't done with Mike Pondsmith's TTRPG cyberpunk genre and will perhaps some day make another Cyberpunk game. Tho this time without management pissing on the development team and crunching another half-baked game. Fantastic video "K-Dog" 🙂

  8. the music makes it to the bad list. So, I start up a new play through and after I clear out a room full of Maelstrom, I walk into the room with the radio playing the music from episode 6 when Maine and David have their last conversation. So I gotta believe you think all the music from Edgerunners is bad since it's all the music from the game.
