  1. So, I have a Series X, and 1.5 was my first time playing the game. I definitely really enjoyed it, but I felt like doing side quests, and upgrading your gear completely breaks the game. There is just TOO much stuff, and it's is just TOO powerful. I played on very hard, and once I passed level 20, my skills and gear was so good, that it trivialized the game, and broke every encounter. I was basically an invincible god, and could kill instantly wipe a whole area, and complete the cyberpsycho missions in 10 seconds.

That was with 30 levels still left too go, and I felt like I was INSANELY overpowered already. It just made it feel like there was no point to keep playing, because I could kill stuff any deader. There was really no upgrades that would matter. It just felt like there was no point in doing anything other than just finishing the storyline, because there was no reward or challenge left to be had.

They need to nerf all the gear, skills, and stat bonuses… A LOT. Or, improve the enemy AI and detection, and make them several times more difficult.

I loved the world, and the atmosphere, the characters, and the lore, and I really want to keep playing, but I just feel like there's no point anymore. It just seems like such wasted potential, and I don't understand why level cap is 50, when you are already way, WAY overpowered when you are only half way to cap, even when only using blue tier gear.

I didn't have any crashes, bugs, or issues, and the game had good performance. It's just the balancing, difficulty, and AI that ruined it for me.

  2. Short answer: Yes!!!
    Long Answer: Most Definitely Yes!!!

Though I am biased, due to loving the game from day 1 😉.
I also think that having several Devs out there playing the game on Twitch is helping too.

  3. I haven't stopped playing since the update. I've been having a blast honestly, only thing that's gonna change that is Elden Ring. But I'm very excited to see what the future holds for Cyberpunk, I imagine the paid DLC is just gonna be crazy 💯

  4. It'll be a gradual recovery. This game is incredible at it's current state. Sadly, it's happening parallel to Elden Ring's release and its immense success regarding meeting hype and expectations.

I hope there will be an opportunity for Cyberpunk to take back momentum and push its sales and acclaim. Truly a marvelous game with an incredibly detailed city, human characters and well written plots, and immersive gameplay that feels like Metroid Prime meets Fallout

  5. LMK been loving your CP videos. I myself put the game down when it first launched because I didn’t want to experience the game in that state. I recently picked it up and have not been able to put it down since the 1.5 patch.

I must say though, I disagree with the need for a NG+ right now. In my opinion, it would be much more beneficial for CDPR to fix life paths and make them be much more meaningful. I want my decision to be a corpo, street kid, or a nomad to have a much greater impact than just a few different dialog options that have almost no impact on the game. They need to rework life paths and then add NG+. I feel like NG+ would get stale fast where as if they rework life paths, I would feel a stronger need to explore the story multiple times from the perspective of the different life paths.

  6. The added iguana pet can’t be gotten on last gen consoles, not because the egg can’t be got but because the bowl to put it in, just will not spawn, even tried starting a new post 1.5 playthrough. Please bring this to light so they can put in a hot fix, thanks.

  7. Cyberpunk 2077 is a game that has been hindered by forces unlike ever before. Investors, hackers, a pandemic, and now the country of Poland is potentially under threat of an invasion. I hope this game turns out amazing but I also hope the best for these developers that are stressed and probably overworked.

  8. Company was nice… the game i was hyped for from 2013…. was actually decently bad.

The best part was the prolog… That prolog was basicly, the entire game… Every other mission, contract… was low effort copy/paste. Latter at the end game, it felt better, but just like for 2 missions only.

Mods are the only thing that will save this game, since CDPR butchered it.

  9. I think that it is what we expected. Showing effort with 1.5 so that we can feel they're working towards that redemption arc. But i see this too like after Witcher 3 first launched, i'm just waiting for all the expansions and dlc they have waiting in their safes. It will blow our minds i hope. I have a glimpse of hope for Cyberpunk 2077 2 too. I want to see/live another story of night city or the continuation of "V"…will he survive?
