No. On principal alone.
I played 2077 very thoroughly for about 120hours, finished about all of the optional stuff and didn't finish the main story. The Gigs and other non-"side jobs" missions felt like they were made with some setpiece in mind and they had some separate lore team come in and sprinkle readable items and flavor after the fact. I think to their credit, many missions take place in a building or complexes that feels well designed for different playstyles but there's no way to dialogue your way through encounters.
I did like the lore, since there are several connected storylines and conspiracies that you only know about if you read what you find, but other than serving as a basis for a dead body you find with legendary loot or spicing up a small area with a few hostile npcs and a few bodies, they didn't feel like those stories were part of the world.
2077s problems cannot be fixed, and they wont. they changing to UE5 for their next game speaks volumes about the absolute disgrace of REDengine.
i played a full game of 2077 after the newest patch. the game holds no water, the AI breaks, the cutscenes break, the combat is hilariously unbalanced, playing on max difficulty you can just toss your guns away and never equip one again, you armor? unequip that too, you do not need it. and after you learn how to break the AI not even the bossfights will ever do anything to you. the game, from the middle to the end is not a game, is a pre-alpha proof of concept.
im never buying a cdpr product again because they are incompetent liars
It was a fantastic game and so much fun! But it wasn't what was advertised. That's all.
There was a quick patch on PC while I was watching this. 🤣
Put about 60 hours in on an Xbone and it had maybe three parts that I had to go back and reload an earlier save. It's really no more broken than Bethesda games can be now. Super fun game.
Its well worth playing. I’ve gotten just about every different ending and its fun experimenting different kinds of character builds. It’s incredible how detailed the game actually is.
My only two complaints are that when you replay the game the opening does get very tedious. And the handling of the cars and bikes in the game feels weird.
But overall I would strongly recommend the game, but definitely not on a base model PS4 or Xbox one. While I do play this game on a base PS4 and I love it, it definitely is annoying to see how long everything takes to load.
TL/DR: Great game, would recommend, but on a next gen console or PC.
In my opinion Cyberpunk 2077 isn't GTA V in the future, it's the Witcher 3 in the future. If that interests you then you'll have a good time. If it doesn't, then you won't.
I think Cyberpunk 2077 has a lot of potential to release new stories in the same world. This is something that GTA V could have done but never capitalised on due to their focus on GTA Online.
It still has a shallow open world and a mediocre dime store novel story. I'm not sure why it's the bugs people focused on, when the game itself was and remains poor.
Is there animosity between Marty and Nick? I’m picking up some lowkey conflict
Is Cyberpunk 2077 Finally Worth Playing in 2022?
–Me downlaoding and booting up the game, while making sure it has the latest patch, character gets in the first car chace at the boarders NOT firing a single bullet, everyone else dies and i win……..Nope 1
–Accidentaly fired a shotgun in the middle of a crowed while walking and a cop teleported on top of my HEAD, he teleported above me injuring as both (i think) with his fall damage …Nope 2
–During the starting main story missions stuff, i slide from the balkony in a semi-cutscene and falls through the world in both of my tries, can't do a single thing about it since its supposedly a cutscene …Nope 3
….Yeah, FUCK this game…. The fact that this game is even talked about it fucking sad
it's a good thing that CDPR lost all their good favor by proving they are just like the most and now they are under a microscope from all gamers
Give me a fuckin fancy modern remake of Lego ROCK RAIDERS for PS1. That playset was so fuckin DOPE as a kid.
I must have spent 300 hours plus all the times i had to restart 5 to 7 hours of gameplay. Story is great execution of the the game was bad. Only bad thing was some missions couldnt get passed a check point. But they fix that in like 2 days. Super quick turn around.
Probably not
Kirby, Kirby, Kirby!!!!!!
I have no doubt the game has come a long way from launch. But it is still super janky, I can't go 5 minutes without encountering something not quite right. Ghostly sound loops coming from dead gang members, peds walking through geometry, floating cars, disappearing peds, in a couple of cases I've been teleported whilst trying to use melee weapons which is pretty bad.
On top of that, they still haven't implemented one of the most requested features – police chases, which isn't as "impossible" as they have suggested because modders have got something working pretty well.
The game was worth playing even at launch, the social media outrage was well orchestrated and caused great harm to this game. But in retrospect they should not have tried to shove this game on all platforms since it was clearly designed to be a pc-game.
it's a solid game. my real gripe with the game is the real lack of making me want to go back and replay the game. I played through 4 times and the only things that felt new and exciting were using builds that heavily restricted my playstyle like melee only or no hacking. it's definitely worth playing through all of the endings at least once. I got 250 hours out of this game and don't feel like I wasted my money. however will probably not reinstall the game unless drastic changes to gameplay or interesting DLC drops.
I have been trying to remember what Lego Alpha Team was for Y E A R S. I remember the sets I had from it so well but couldnt put a name to them.
I have no idea ppl takling about cyberpunk be buggy. Ive played on pc.. i think i had one floating corpes in 2 play throughs :O
Nick is right; they straight up lied.
Conclusions should be made from that no matter what the game is/was like.
I like the idea of attack on titan. I keep bouncing off because the pacing is glacial at times. It feels like everything takes ar least 2x longer then it needs to be. Its not a slow burn thing but just that anime problem if diverting alway from important shit to do flashbacks and things like that
I tried playing it. The first act was pretty good but it just lost me after that. Once the story gets boring the floaty stealth and shooting mechanics made me realize I didn’t enjoy actually playing the game.
