What you all gamers playing in English doesn't see is that Starfield doesn't has lipsync with any spoken language besides English. Truely a next gen game.
Cyberpunk was based on the Red-engine based on the Aurora Engine based on Bioware's Infinity Engine (1998-2001). If a backyard CD publishing company turned developer can update their game-engine, Bethesda can as well.
Tbh these, as glaring as they might be, don't touch on the biggest issue which is Bethesda's design philosophy when it comes to world building and narration, which is definitely lacking, they haven't yet understood the importance of "show, don't tell" and it makes their world feel very artificial, as opposed to cyberpunk which shows you a plethora of things and lets you reflect on it without an npc rail guiding you towards the designer's vision
Starfield is worse than Cyberpunk and won't ever be as good because they won't be willing to spend the time and money to improve it. Cyberpunk really exposes Skyrim's bad graphics and systems and Baldur's Gate 3 exposes its terrible RPG elements. Don't ever listen to Todd Howard about anything. He's just a marketing robot with a peanut brain.
im glad cyberpunk is finally getting acknowledge for what an incredible ambitious project it was… and people are calling out beth for being grey and bland
If Starfield is any indication of the current state of bethesdas ambition and capability to make games (which it 110% is), the next elder scrolls is going to be about as good as a log of shit rolled in icing sugar. Starfield has made it completely clear that bethesdas good games are a product of luck and circumstance, not skill and planning.
To be fair, none of these " features" where present in CP 2 years ago, I remember all the bug- videos comparing it to titles like RDR2, TLOU2, GTA V and so on. But its 2023 now and Starfield is a good game. But it needs a few hundred pages more code 🙂 Modders can only do so much, I fear that stuff like the constant loading screens will never be more seamless…
Need to admit – this year I played to from start to finish following new games: HiFi Rush (amazing game, I hope it will get at least some reward – it's really good!), Dead Space Remake (great remake, but shit PC port), System Shock Remake (really solid game I waited for years), Final Fantasy XVI (really good game held hostage by PS5 and its underwhelming performance), Baldur's Gate 3 (played alpha, played full – I wish we had more games like this!), Armored Core 6 (100% it except for S-ranking every mission, fuck that, my personal GOTY). Games that I didn't finished this year – Starfield (dropped after like 5-6 hours. I got so bored by it). I finished Cyberpunk main story some years ago, need to return to it – but there is way too many things to do and way too many games to play.
Out of games that are not remakes and out of RPGs released this year (FFXVI, BG3, CPFL) Starfield feels least developed, least fun, least interesting and least epic of all of them. This year I've killed Giant Alien Brain that almost transformed me into alien mostrocity, destroyed evil corporation with a spectacular effects, saved world from ancient ass-hat who tried to reboot it so magic won't go to shit, made alien energy life form on far-away planet spread across the universe, went into a moon of another world to get into memory of ancient hero and euthanized Gods (all of them) because they asked me very nicely and who am I to not help them do so? And what Bethesda wants me to do? Go to another planet that looks like 1000 other planets I've been to and pick up another rock. Woo, exciting…
I guess no one played Cyberpunk 2077 when it got released? I did….and there was so much hate for the video game…..I even remember these types of videos where Cyberpunk was being compared to the old GTAs………..and everyone was sh***ng on the game… Still, I love Cyberpunk, I enjoyed the day 1 version, and this new 2.0 version …., and I love Starfield too.
I’m not a huge fan of starfield but this is massively biased. Go back to day 1 cyberpunk on consoles and it was utter garbage, far worse than starfield. At least you could play the damn game. Right now, cyberpunk is off course much better than starfield but it took years.
Your depth of field is too high to be bethesda
i'm ded after the 3/1000 vs 1/1 worlds 😀
i dread any future games by Bethesda. it seems like oblivion mechanics are here to stay
Fallout 4 is more refined than Starfield

Awesome video thanks 🙏🏿

Cyberpunk water effects are new. And comparing the two is laughable esp when most of you were complaining about the same shit before. gtfo.

the fact that MS told Bethesda to delay the game and gave them an extra year to work on Starfield but it still came out like this
More like Shitfield

Why are we using sand brittle glass in the 23rd century???
4:50 WHY ARE YOU SLOWLY CLIMBING UP A LADDER WHEN YOU HAVE BOOST PACK???
I'll take starfield loading screens over cyberpunks none stop dialog. Does anyone STFU in the game?? I just want to kill shit..

I didn't know water could show your melee weapon's hitbox in cyberpunk.
This is painfully accurate.
