  1. Very nice video. thx Just tried that with my Reverb G1, but unfortunately a GTX 1080TI is just not powerfull enough. I only get about 15fps Game and 45fps headset. So you really need a beefy graphic card.

  2. Wow, just know we can play video game in this way. Thanks man. So we still play 2D game on a headset as a monitor, but use the VorpX as a 3D driver to convert it to 3D, am I right?

  3. Hi. You said that there were some good changes in Pitool, and that you are going to describe why you are leaning towards 8kx vs. G2. I want to purchase the 8kx but i am still on the fence. Thanks.

  4. One downside of increasing FOV is that it increases the scale of when you draw your gun or when inside cars. I'm going to be looking into a solution for this issue. Possibly need a world scale tweak.

  5. Thanks for sharing, found some helpful stuff in here.. I think you're doing it wrong with the resolution and DLSS settings though. To increase native resolution and setting DLSS to ultra performance (basically disabling it) negates the possibilities it presents. Logically, to exctract best performance and image quality, you want to run DLSS in the highest effect/quality preset, and then lower the native resolution until you get your fps in order.

  7. Also, should I upgrade my 8kx to a g2?
I've got a 5k, a 5k+ and the 8kx as well as an odyssey.. but listening to your reviews I'm thinking it might be a good idea to get a g2? I'm running a 3090 and a 5940x

  8. Your video helped establish confidence in the capabilities of Vorpx more generally and a really cool game that we know could be a killer addition to the VR lineup. Coming from a HP Reverb G2 owner, I will likely purchase both VORPX and the game finally(can't really go back to 2D games now). Looking forward to seeing more of this content, and additional twists on VORPX and re: other 3D drivers.
