It’s fast and easy to play cyberpunk 2077 with vr view.
What do you need? Cyberpunk 2077 & VorpX (And a vr system)
Step 1: Create a custom resolution for windows via NVIDIA settings and choose one of the resolutions below (DO NOT go high if you don’t have a very strong videocard, start with a LOW RESOLUTION and build up)
1280×752
1600×1401
2400×2160 –*–*–*–*–*–This is the resolution i used.
2560×1504
3200×1880
Step 2: Start VorpX, download mine or another profile for the game in VorpX (Make sure to check if the game’s exe file is present in VorpX at local profiles)
Step 3: Start the game, VorpX should attach to the game.
Step 4: When the game has loaded, go to settings – video – anbd change the resolution in the custom resolution that you created.
Step 5: Go to settings – graphics – and set FOV high. (Max is not high enough for perfect view)
(Step 5: Feel free to adjust my profile to your preferences and please import it in vorpx’s profile cloud.)
Keep an eye out online for new useful mods & Graphic mods in order to make the vr view more perfect in the future.
Fingers crossed for an actual VR mod or official VR conversion for the game someday!

Nice! I was getting sick of Cyberpunk I investigate thoroughly (because, RPG) – and there's nothing, like the environments are so static and the NPCs just keep repeating the same dialogue. It's so stale BUT it's visually nice, nice environmental atmosphere, now I'm going to give it a try on Quest 2 thanks to your video – cheers.
BTW there is a way to have full control of FOV now, 'Jade – LordEmil1' on NexusMods – this mod gives much wider FOV if required.

How did you get the HUD elements to be more towards the center of the screen?
I'm having a hard time setting custom resolution on my main display.. Radeon user here, 5700 XT. There are a bunch of parameters.
But does it look crisp and good resolution or its kinda pixilated like ps2/ps3 game and also the scaling is a bit off… this is how it displays in my Index. Driving is totally impossible!
My vorp x settings won’t pop up when I want. Can’t change any settings while in game 🙁
How do you change the distance the HUD moves in, it is extremely tiny and low res, but would be perfect if it could be zoomed out a little bit

Nice vid but big turn off that u can't use controllers. Everyone who has played vr games with guns and controllers cannot go back to mouse.

The whole time I'm playing this I'm like, man, this would be so much better in VR. Having the VR vew is fun but it needs to be playable with VR controllers as well, maybe with future mods ^^
My 9700K is running at 90% when the game is at idle. The resolution is at 1080p. My GTX 1080 is running at 30 to 40% and the game keeps crashing. Is that normal?

D3D12 Steam games do not work currently in oculus mode.
For Steam games that use D3D12 please change the headset type to ‘SteamVR’ in the config app for now, wich will probably fix the problem.
Crap, i accidently overwrote the .json file for the controller, now im getting the flatlined error message and am unable to play the game. By chance is there anyway you could send the original options.json file. If not its okay
Just curious, what kinda parts are in your PC to run it at the resolution you're at? And how are you liking the performance and fps so far? Thanks a lot for sharing this, very interested to get it running once I build my PC in a few months.
Don't get excited folks Vorpx looks like garbage, you will not see any 3D effects, it will not look like this video
I created the custom resolution 2400×2160 but in game I can't see that option, and when I try to set it in Nvidia control panel it just resets to my native resolution?….

I play FPS with inverse Y. Is there a way to make head tracking normal that doesnt also get inverted?
crashes on my 3080 with 5900x after 5min, but it may be because Steamvr sucks.
What if you bought it on EPIC and not steam?
I tried this and was extremely disappointed. The full VR mode doesn't work properly and looks terrible so you either have to use cinema or immersive mode. Also can't use geometry mode so everything has a blurry outline around it. I guess other people are OK with these issues but they ruin the experience for me. I thought by now these things would be fixed.
