How Dino Dinovic Fools Us All (And Why He's the Cleverest Fixer) | Cyberpunk 2077 | Analysis

DINO DINOVIC is Night City’s relatively underwhelming fixer of the City Center. BUT WHAT IF… he’s actually got us ALL fooled? What if Dino is playing 4D chess, and is actually the most powerful fixer we can technically meet in 2077?

That sounds so funny and untrue, but GENUINELY, I had a lot of fun with this half-theory, half analysis. Did not expect to come out of my Dino research thinking anything even remotely interesting about him. Even I’ll fully admit that he’s probably a case of a lot of cut content, but it was still fun to speculate like this. 😀

Let me know what you think of Dino in the comments! Next fixer we’ll be covering is known for his beautiful hair and fashion sense, so get your fanny packs zipped up. WEEWOO.

  1. Here's a funny little observation about the waitress in yellow. Did you know that Miss Rabbit in Peppa Pig has like all the jobs you can think of? They go to the library, Miss Rabbit is there. They go to the museum, Miss Rabbit is there. They go to the dentist… You get the idea. Incidentally Miss Rabbit also wears yellow, so… Nah, probably just a coincidence. CDPR wouldn't put a reference like that in the game.

  2. Massively disagreed with your Padre assessment. Dino is just whatever to me. I don’t think he’s clever. He’s just not stupid enough to operate in city center and piss off the corps. He really has to weigh his options before making a decision.

  3. Wow, Lydi, you've done what CDPR couldn't—turned Dino into someone I actually care about. The way you added depth and nuance to his story is brilliant, and it feels like this is who he was meant to be all along. Honestly, can we petition for you to join the Cyberpunk writing team? Your talent deserves a bigger stage!

  4. To me Dino comes off as the ultimate Corpo poser. Every other Fixer no matter how morally grey are "honest" in the way they portray themselves. Regina is a fundamentally good person who is doing her best to not fall into amorality. Wakako is an amoral, machiavellian crimelord but she never pretends to be anything but that and it actually makes her fairly easy and "fair" to deal with. El Capitan is an opportunistic rogue but has a clear moral center, and Padre will never lie to you about how much he has to strike a balance between ruthlessness and morality at any given time. It's only Dino who has a completely fake persona and manner, who leads a life and acts in ways at odds with his image. I guess that makes him the least "punk" out of all of em.

  5. Dino could be an FIA agent himself FIA is in bed with Militech his bar has a sign that spells out MIL he's smack in the middle of saka territory.. Militechs enemy number 1 hhmm he sends you on a gig against militech but could be a rouge sect, maybe they stepped on FIAs toes? Could explain the shoddy rocker boy gitup since he has a past with that sorta thing it could explain why Reed has his cover gig as the bouncer dino doing a favor for momma President Myers perhaps? Hhmm I'm reading to far into this.

  6. For the empathy mission, if you go around the other side of the building, then jump to the fire escape and pass the strength check, you can get right in through the office door. You just have to knock out one guy, get the data, and duck right back out without any issues.

  7. Dino is the opposite of wacaco as he’s on the road to becoming someone more like hands or late game rouge

As unlike wacaco who plays it risky and has so meny debts do that all it will take is one bill coming up that she can’t pay or trade off to end her. Dino has none of that. His jobs are ‘safe’ as they’re relitivly white because his targets are mostly just hardened gangbangers, traffickers or white collar gigs. While his rep if personally low for his own worth is high when it comes to trust ability and understanding that your getting a fair shake.

Dino is thus the weirdest fixer as he is rather one of two possible types. A fixer that has reached its peak and stopped growing or one about to pop off just needs to build himself up first. “Ow but he’s been in the game for a while” being a top of the line fixer takes decades. Dino has barely been in for a decade.

  8. Hey Lidy, I really like your Cyberpunk videos, I've watched them all now. Are you planning to do videos on all of the fixers? Because I'd really like to know your read Mr. Hands. I find him fascinating and he might be the most intelligent players in Night City while mostly flying under peoples radar.

  9. I doubt he's unfinished. Reyes had a massive overhaul in 2.0 and Hands was made into a completely different character in Phantom Liberty. If they wanted to change something about Dino, they would have.

  10. I'm glad the algorithm led me to this channel. Very well-told and edited lore videos here. I noticed that most of the videos are character-focused, and that's understandable—character stories are what move people. But is there any video focusing more on world-building aspects of Cyberpunk?

  11. He reminds me of those old school hardcore punks that were wanted by INTERPOL in the early 90s. But he somehow avoided the prison time and he's is now involved in some sh*t and most of us do not know how far the rabbit hole goes. LIke he could be an informant for the NCPD for all we know
