What felt like a disaster at launch, is now becoming a loved masterpiece. Thanks to the Netflix anime Cyberpunk Edgerunners, Cyberpunk 2077 is now finally getting the recognition it deserves.
If you haven’t watched the anime, I’d highly recommend it. A quick but brilliant watch. David Martinez, Lucy, Rebecca, Adam Smasher, all of these characters are in the show and add a ton to the gameplay.

The game mended out way before edgerunners but the new weapons are nice

yeah the patches definitely made the game playable, and the anime was just the icing on the cake
Wouldn't say cyberpunk is "a hot mess" well at least not on pc anyways. Yeah it has its issues but overall it's still a fun time.
I'd also buy this game just to beat adam smasher to bits.
Maybe it was never actually that bad, it didn't all of a sudden become good because of the anime.

maybe it wasn't as good and really buggy because they EVEN SAID "We're still not done with the game." but every manchild threw a tantrum and threatened them to release it earlier which then lead to them crying about how bad it is when it wasn't that complete.
The anime hurt me. David didn’t deserve any of that, should of made it to the moon….
2077 was always good its just didn't run well at launch.

The game still sucks. Do not get it.
I think it's cool that the game made a near complete turnaround. Although I'm still pretty skeptical about the sequel being announced so soon unless they've been working on it since the first games release.

its still a dogwater game on itsown, and no anime will ever save it. it should not have released in that state; there is no excuse.

everything in cyberpunk is good except the bug their show is successfully change my mind about cyberpunk
the anime didn’t make the game good, it was already good for a while before the anime, the anime just made it popular
