  1. As bad as the launch was, I bought it about 5 months later. It wasn’t finished, nor is it even close to finished now, but I actually love the game. Some big problems were just glitches and how they removed half the stuff they showed off, and I get that is very important, but I still put a solid 30 hours in after some stuff was fixed and/or added. If they would have added multiplayer, wallrunning, bug fixes, and had the ability to buy houses or apartments instead of just having the one default, the game could have struck gold. That is a dream though and won’t ever happen

  2. i actually love cyberpunk. my favorite game since like FFX

this makes me sad and nervous that we won't get a fully fleshed out franchise – cyberpunk multiplayer would have been amazing

  3. Know people will probably never read this:

But my game of the last generation has to be the Hitman World of Assassination trilogy. It reignited my absolute love for the franchise after the disaster it went through in the 360 era. It was the only time I felt a company indirectly apologise to their fanbase as they went back to the formula that made the original games so good in the first place. I have almost 1000 hours of that thing on steam combined between all 3 installments. I love those games.🧡

  4. for a triple A company, there is no point on pulishing a game before launch. They want money, not loyal fans so as long enough people buy it when is out, the backlash is aseptable. look a EA, they know they do trash games but dont care because they still get pay.

  5. Cyberpunk is such a good game I’m on my second playthrough but if there’s something really wrong with the game is the story the story starts off great and strong and it hooks you in but by time you hit the end of the game and you realize almost none of your choices mattered they boasted about branching storylines ya really nice endings where you get the same main two no matter what you did through out the game

  6. The worst part of this is that cyberpunk is generally a really good game with an interesting story and great gameplay, but it really shouldn't have been open world.
They should've opted for semi open world like deus ex HR because I feel like the world is heavily under-utilised, like barely anything is interactive and most buildings can't be entered, unless in a story mission.
On pc you can bump up the npc density but all that does is randomly add many npcs in a spot that constantly walk around and thats all. Barely any side activities to do, no random encounters like break ins, hijacks, cop chases etc.
Yeah 4 years development for the type of game they were try to make is near impossible.

  7. FYI : other companies ALREADY have used CDPR's CP2077 release experience as a warning; "CP2077" has basically become a term referring to what you spoke about for the whole vid.
You mention that you haven't even played CP2077 that much (TBH it seems like you've played it VERY little), so, as someone who HAS played the game (quite a lot actually) let me give you feedback.
The game was made for the PC; where CDPR F'ed up is by being greedy (or too inclusive) by trying to drag the consoles into the original release date. It's freaking CYBERPUNK, the console crowd would have b!tched some, but would have accepted having to wait a year or so for the game to land on their platform (EVERYBODY knew this title was going to be pushing the envelope).
Also CDPR should get credit for NOT just demanding killer PC hardware to run their title. I can tell you, even "okay" gaming PCs were capable of playing CP2077 at launch.
What I find short-sighted by the Console crowd is how many of them couldn't even get their "next gen" consoles at the time of CP2077's release, yet made such a F'ing fuss about the game, that by the time they finally get the hardware, CDPR is looking to "move on" instead of pouring in effort for those expansions (notice the "s" as in plural, something that has apparently become singular thanks to the band-wagon b!tching).

  8. Ok I mostly blame the higher ups at CDPR for this a lot cause they pretty much forced the devs to finish on time but if I remember correctly they were working on the engine the game was running on at least it wasn't a major flop compared to Battlefield 2042 surprised that didn't hurt EA
