  1. The scrapper perk is a big mistake if you plan on looting/exploring a lot in this game. Once you get it, it will automatically break down all "junk" with no way to specify which junk. I often find jewelry and other items worth hundreds. It's nothing rare for me to play a couple of hours, and end up selling all of my junk for a couple of thousand dollars. Earrings that sell for $700-$800 can be found pretty regularly for example.

  2. You can use crafting to make easy money by buying and dismantling drinks from vending machines.

Drinks cost $10 each and give 6 uncommon, 3 common parts if you have the mechanic perk (and why wouldn't you!)
Uncommon parts sell for $5, common for $8 so a $10 drink gives parts worth $54

If you invest sufficiently in crafting perks, you can also make uncommon sniper rifles that sell for more than the crafting cost, so you can turn those $10 drinks into sniper rifles and make even more.

  3. I can't seen to upgrade the rarity of my Satori Katana, the blueprint to upgrade it to epic is nowhere to be found. Do I need the crafting skill to craft epic items for it to show up?

  4. Not sure if I'm stupid, but there's one thing I still didn't understand. Is there a way to know which level is the weapon or gear I find? For example, say I found a really cool-looking piece of gear that I want to use, but it's now falling behind severely in terms of stats compared to my current level and gear. How do I know how many times I need to upgrade it before it's at my level?

For a more extreme example, say I'm level 30 and I still have a piece of gear that I looted as level 1. Is it possible to upgrade that gear to be usable without going bankrupt? (not what I want to do, I just want to understand this system)

  5. Thanks for the video and I’m so glad you are playing this game. You are the best at breaking things down and explaining things in a way that’s easy to understand. Also didn’t realize that this channel is separate from your NMS channel. Happy Holidays.
