I mean, the game was already being patched before Edgerunners but the anime definitely helped bring people back.
I'm kind of sick of seeing how edgerunners saved cyberpunk, it didn't. Everything we got, outside of edgerunners content, we would have got regardless. It didn't save shit
Yeah it didnt save shit. The devs just worked hard to fix their shit and come out with nice updates. I actaully really didnt like the anime but played more cyberpunk once it was updated now its a top played of mine
Game was good before edgerunners dumbas
Both of them are aggressively mid
It played a part of putting what was known as a buggy mess back onto the radar of people, but the fact is, the base game aside from the bugs is excellent. Had CD Projekt Red not been royally screwed over by the game testing company, the game would've gotten praise from the start.
No mans sky.
Bullshit, their updates and phantom liberty saved Cyberpunk.
The game wasn't that bad to begin with. People just had their panties in a bunch. Close to 99% oh the bugs were graphical only and often time hilarious. It was no worse than a Bethesda game in a "fixed" state.
