  1. That wasn't a pointless quest if you want to roleplay your V more, as it gives you a chance to walk away, and then a chance to get paid or not. It doesn't lead to anything, but that's the way of it sometimes.

  2. I'd like to leave here some potential locations that might be fun to check out for additional short content if it's ok for me to do (no spoilers). If it's not – don't read the following.

    1. Rollercoaster in Pacifica (scan can help).
    2. Area around V's apartment in Megabuilding. Turn right facing the door, around the corner – a trashcan.
    3. Rancho coronado, Santo Domingo (where 6'th street shooting contest took place), a garage near the dam.
    4. Dogtown stadium market, container.

  3. In german, Skippy is voiced by the same person as the german Spongebob Squarepants, doing basically the same voice. It is just a whole other level of ridicoulus.

  4. 1:49:52 – Actually, not pointless… but this one is half as interesting without Streetkid Lifepath. I won't tell you what it says… but the question remains: you act, but do you know what the right solution is, if you don't have the right circumstances? Could you ever know?

But, yeah, I understand that you're in a position where you can't appreciate it, because it's not supposed to be appreciable without multiple playthroughs. But I'd say that the NCPD encounters are much less interesting. I'd even say there are probably some very forgettable quests (for their tier) that I didn't like. But is a quest really bad, just because you don't have the build required to access certain lines of dialogue? I'd say not.

  5. Police scanner missions are good for grinding XP and $$$, and there are a lot of shards you can pick up that offer a small amount of lore and world building, as well as connections to one another and things going on in Night City. And if you do them all, you get an achievement for it.

Gigs are a must, though, as those can provide you not only with XP and $$$, but unique items and things that can open up new quests further down the line. Also, when you finish out all the gigs from a fixer, you get a special reward, typically an iconic weapon, but sometimes a unique vehicle.

  6. I feel like that encounter with the cops and the corpo would have been fine if it were just an unmarked event you could come across while wandering. But marking it with a yellow exclamation point does kinda imply that it's a bigger, more impactful quest like most of the rest of the side jobs in this game. I have always felt like it was pretty underwhelming in my playthroughs, as well. Is it pointless? Not technically. Is it disappointing when you're expecting a sidequest? Yeah for sure.

  7. I can't believe your preference is to play this game without a cyberdeck and quick hacks. Also you should look up how to get the HOON, it's the best car and its free and you missed it and probably won't go back to that area for any reason.

  8. You compaining about the Lizzy Wizzy quest being pointless was not about the quest itself. You had done a of bunch of pointless quests before and didnt say anything, Seeing Grimes soured your mood so much you started complaining about the quest being pointless lol, in fact your entire mood for the rest of the episode was affected

  9. I really enjoy your gameplay so far. I hope there are many other parts following. You really seem to love this game and enjoy all the little details, gigs and stories that the game tells.

And if it would just be driving around NC or the badlands – I would watch every second of it 😀

  10. I think you got pushback on the Lizzie Wizzie quest comments because it sort of came off like you were hating on it because Grimes was the voice actor. I don’t think you meant it that way, but that’s sort of how it came off. Also, I know you rescinded it this video, but the pointless comment also seemed off, and reinforced the seeming hatred for it being Grimes since the quest really wasn’t pointless at all, but the execution could absolutely have been better.

That’s how I kinda took it at least, but I didn’t chime in because if that’s how you felt then that’s how you felt. It’s not my place to tell you how to feel about anything 😛
