Cyberpunk 2077 patch 1.5 introduced some performance optimizations as well as AMD FidelityFX SuperResolution (FSR). In this video I benchmark the GTX 1060 6GB in Cyberpunk 2077 at 1080p using all graphics presets and FSR on and off.

  1. Here's my recommended settings if you have a 1060 3GB.

    Resolution: 1920×1080
    Texture Quality: Medium
    Crowd Density: Medium (or low)

Film Grain and Chromatic Aberration: Off

Depth of Field and Lens Flare: On

Motion Blur: either off or low

Contact shadows and improved facial lighting geometry: On

    Anisotropy: 1

Local shadow mesh and quality: Medium, but I'm personally fine with it on High at the cost of frames

Cascaded shadows range and resolution: Medium

    Distant shadows resolution: High

    Volumetric fog: Low

    Volumetric cloud quality: Off

Max dynamic decals: doesn't seem to matter. Low to be safe?

    SSR Quality: Low

    Subsurface Scattering: High

    Ambient Occlusion: Low

    Color Precision: Medium

    Mirror Quality: High

    LOD: High

    FSR: Ultra Quality

Indoors you will easily get up to 60fps… Driving is a little less stable, especially if crowd density is above Low and you decide to keep shadows on high. Having FSR on auto can help while driving if you choose to keep shadows high and crowd density at medium, but it doesn't look great.

  2. Doing some benchmarking of my own with FSR on an older gaming laptop with a 15.7 inch screen, I can say that the smaller display you have the less negative visual impact you will have (pixelation). If you play 1080p FSR on a 4k TV, it's just like you are intoxicated and have poor vision 🙂

  3. Man, no i would rather use 1080P UQ FSR at high then Medium in terms of what looks better.

Lighting & reflections at medium is just so much reduced removes that next gen type of look imo.

BTW i agree 100% about using a controller instead below 60FPS actually i don't even like the mouse and keyboard at 45FPS feels way to slow and distracting in a FPS and i own a G-sync display with the hardware module in it

  4. Игра не оптимизирована – говно. Я в шутер в 40-50 фпс играть не буду. А массовый пользователь имеет бомж пк. Дайте нормальные настройки графики,чтоб выключить всю срань кроме текстур и моделей.

  5. I keep insisting that to be a supposed game of the future generation in terms of graphics it is not even up to the heels of GTA V that even adding mods it looks even more spectacular, the demand for this game is absolutely ridiculous…

  6. I disabled volumetric fog, all shadows are set to low since shadows look terrible no matter what. Disable reflections and any other artifact inducing post process. With 1.5 update my stock 980Ti is finally able to run 1080p 60fps no matter what location in the game. Driving used to be the worst dips, now they don't exist since they also fixed the memory loading issues on SSD/RAM.

  7. The FSR settings work great! There is still the option of Dynamic Resolution. What happens if you turn on Dynamic Resolution with a target FPS and set FSR on auto? Let's say if I set target FPS to 40 with a dynamic res of 80% with FSR on auto, will the game render at 80% the resolution and use FSR for upscaling in demanding scenes?

  8. Why does people use FSR on a Nvidia GPU?Cant he use DLSS on a 1060? Isnt the Software written for AMD specificly? I also dont get applying Raytracing without any Nvidia Card. Its just drags down the eprformance like crazy.

  9. Amazing how AMD added better support for GTX cards then NVIDIA themselves. I got the game to 50fps with ultra details, I had to lower the resolution of my monitor from 2560×1080 to 1920×1080, but with FSR ultra performance on GTX 1050 Ti it works smoothly. I was surprised it could handle ultra at 50 to 60 or so fps.

  10. That is weird, my game doesn't look like that. GTX 1060 6gb. If i turn off dynamic resolution then all objects become blurry, driving on the road or watching cars approach is like watching game from 1990 turn into game from 2020. With dynamic resolution it disables FSR but game looks normal and fps doesn't change all that much.
I may have messed up something in the past when i was trying to figure out how to get better frame rate. Can't even find where i placed mods, or maybe i already deleted them.

  11. FSR or dynamic resolution negatively impacts visuals turning game into blurry mess, but it works well when you are indoors. GTX 1060 is too weak to run cyberpunk at decent setting 30-45 is what you can get on custom preset keeping most of visuals and performance at balance. Sadly it may be but In order to play Cyberpunk on max settings full hd 60fps you need atleast 3060ti.

  12. I can't use FSR cause I have a monitor with native res of 1360×768, so if I use FSR the image gets really blurry, looks like V needs some glasses, but since I play at a lower res I like to use medium/low settings with FSR off, can keep up with 60fps+ in some areas but overall is around 45~55fps in most places, it sucks but it's all I have.
