  1. Dangit…I was gonna go raid some monasteries in AC Valhalla, but I gotta watch this first. It's nice seeing someone that isn't as cynical as myself experiencing this game for the 1st time!

  2. Great episode Juliette! I strongly suggest doing other side jobs before doing Takemura next main job because it’s not a point of no return but it’s a big one in the story. But good work. Idk how much you invested in your perks into but I went into the Arasaka facility undetected and use my sneak to pass or incapacitated guards. 😁

  3. Nice, you got some Judy, some Takemura, and of course the ever present Johnny Silverhand looking on and judging you!

I'm 56hrs into my playthrough now and just finished Judy's questline earlier today (I really enjoyed that one), and when I finally quit I was working my way through River's quest. I think I'll end up having withdrawal symptoms when I'm finally done with this game! 😂

Have you spent much time putting outfits together for V? It's probably just my terrible sense of fashion and not having the right clothing items, but I've only managed to put together about 2 outfits that I think look decent. (I am playing as female V though, maybe I'd do better with male V)

50:09 🤣🤣 Johnny sure knows how to startle you Juliette!

Loved the video, and as always thank you for bringing us along for the ride and just being your awesome self! 💜

  4. Aww, Jules… you didn't fail at stealth. You succeeded at kicking ass! Which, honestly, is what makes this play through all yours and super entertaining! <3

As usual, thanks for another heart-pounding jaunt through Night City. Looking forward to the next one!

  5. No need to apologise. Sometimes the mercs will just turn when you least expect it, or there'll be a camera you didn't know about. Part of the fun of this game is that things can suddenly change just like that. As the quote goes "No plan survives contact with the enemy". You survived and succeeded, which are the important bits

  6. Getting into Arasaka stealthily is tough, though it's much easier with the reinforced tendons, which allow you to jump higher. Still, you achieved the objective, which is all that matters. 🙂 Definitely consider the reinforced tendons, though… there may or may not be a dramatic story moment coming up in which you'll really wish you had them. 😉

  7. Oh no, poop hit the fan 😄To be fair, breaking into that Arasaka facility using stealth is quite challenging. I managed to do it with some difficulty, but one has to have patience. Takemura is cool and I also grew to like him, even though I had my doubts in the beginning. And let's not forget Judy's kiss 😗I think she likes you.

I agree, it is so worth it to play the side missions, even if you don't do all of them on camera. I mean, if you payed money for a game and enjoy it, why not spend some time exploring everything the game has to offer and enjoying some time with interesting characters.

  8. Gamewise, there is no difference between lethal and non-lethal other than the sounds, gig qualifications when assigned to capture someone alive and not kill them, and how it effects you (the player's moral code). Lorewise, well, Tyger Claws never forgive and never forget, and any offense against them is to be responded with death. A Tyger Claw would not see being spared by an enemy or opponent as a mercy, but as a grave insult, so lorewise, any Tyger Claws left alive would seek vengeance on the one who so humiliated them- that is if they were still alive after the punishment for failing and thus dishonoring their superiors. In my opinion, always kill Scavs (as no scav deserve mercy) and Tygerclaws (as they don't desire or respect mercy); kill most Maelstrom (as most are in cyberpsychosis or on the edge of it with no desire to be cured from it, and most desire to spread it like they attempted to that Monk you saw earlier); and leave most VDBs, Valentinos, 6th street, and Moxies alive (unless their rep sheet include capital crimes like r**e or murder as most often they are just trying to get by in their areas and protect what is theirs).

The mission where Maiko tries taking over is actually one of those no-win scenarios, where bad things will happen no matter what choices you make. But you did right by Judy at least, which means that you get to experience one of the most heart-wrenching and beautiful scenes in the game.

Our girl Jules is learning. That was a very wise thing, not paying 17000 eddies for a strange BD from a strange person. The BD does lead to a side gig, but not one that I think you would enjoy. Still in other parts of the city keep your eyes out for a BD lying in the trash with the Edgerunners Logo spraypainted near it in an alley, and if you are in City Center where the Hologram Koi Fishes are, look in the bushes behind and near some praying monks for an Iconic weapon.

You are right, the Takemura Missions are the main plot missions. It is understandable to do other missions before doing the Takemura ones.

Go ahead and say On my way, and then head over when done with Takemura.

Yakitori is supposed to be grilled chicken. But it helps to know that almost all food you encounter is either entirely synthetic or is pest based. As in, for 90% of the population, the only time they ever get actual real meat is when it comes from rats that the cook killed that morning or locusts from the swarm that flew in last week or roaches that were caught in the food. For most of the population, what people eat that is called meats and fruits and vegetables are not actually grown fruits and vegetables or cuts of meat, just synthetic materials that are given the taste (and more rarely, texture) of the matter it is meant to represent. It is a severe enough circumstance that the actual experience of getting and eating a real apple or actual piece of steak is something that is remembered as a once in a life time event, one that you tell your children and grandchildren of. This does not apply to the Corpos at the top of the Corpo ladder who can actually afford real meat and fruits and vegetables (which I can see as costing 10k+ of eddies). Takemura, who worked as a body guard for one of (if not) The most important people in the Cyberpunk world, who was referred to as Emperor, would have been used to eating real food, and not the synthetic stuff that you (V) are used to and is served on the street. In this case, depending on your preferences, if you really want it to be meat that you ate, it would have likely have been rat rather than chicken. If the though of eating rat does not appeal to you, then hope that the cook had at least average grade synthetic or fake meat of the right flavor on supply.

Yeah, to hop that fence outside the Arasaka Float facility, you do need the double jump tendon cybernetic.

It is a common trope in Cyberpunk games and lore that there is always something that goes wrong during a Gig, or some complication arises. In the case of Maiko, a security guard turned around at the wrong time. At the Arasaka Facility, the guard in the booth suddenly realized that the guard at the gate was missing. Expect every gig to have something go wrong during it.
