Just tell Skippy you're going to return him and make no attempt to do so. He won't yell bad user at you.
I found a similar gun on the last mission and it tore Adam smasher up. Problem was I couldn't keep it after the mission. .
idk how but I ended up with so many of this gun in my play through. I had to like keep taking apart the worse ones
I love that pistol so much. The Smart Arasaka prototype Smg is so good too. But it's way to over powered and makes the game to easy. I had to start using swords to even out the battles haha
Get skippy chose puppy loving pacifist then do all of the cyber psycho side missions

You can also get this pistol in an off room while taking out the snipers in Kabuki in the Takemura questline.

You can keep the gun with the mod to cause the gun to kill nobody. Render useless mod
You should say a spoiler befpre the video. Just got the skippy gun and this popped up on my feed, I didn't even look for this, and clicked to see what other gun was good, and you spoiled the whole skippy story. Not cool.
Honestly I think smart weapons aren't that usefull. Sure they are cool but use alot of ammo, with an upgraded Johnnys malorian arms gun or a powerfull overtune revolver you can one shot kill most enemys.
I actually found this gun and deconstructed it 🤦🏾♂️
Pick stone-cold killer mode than put a mod that makes it non lethal
Skippy is a so much more useful gun because you can pick it almost instantly and use it the entire game no upgrades or mods. Unless you're trying to rush the arasaka ending for some reason, by the time you get the genjiroh you're probably already op. In other words don't bother just use skippy
funny thing: seems no one ever tried modding skippy with that non lethal mod. Pick Headshot mode, equip mod, be happy till the end of the game with an OP skippy
The legendary Arasaka – Prototype – Smart rifle that shoots rifle calber 3 round burst head shots or f/a . Along with its White carbon fiber asthetics it blows away Skippy . Over a 1000 Dps and its ability to lock oto 2-3 targets at once . The ability to lock onto head shots or center mass or limbs & lower extremities .
Made the legandary version b4 seeing this vid but never been to that part of map so all good 👍🏻
Guys, if you accidentally chose stone cold killer when u picked up the gun originally and don’t want it to revert back to puppy loving pacifist after 50 kills, just put the non lethal mod on it. It will never count kills because it’s not killing and therefore will not revert your skippy pistol, and your peanut friend will continue to go for the head talk to you and be as op as it always has……I found this out because I needed a weapon that was strong but didn’t kill the cyber psychos. So I put that mod on skippy and used it continuously…..it wasn’t until 3/4 of the way on my nomad play through that I learned about skippy requiring a reset after 50 kills which reverts it back to the setting you didn’t choose.
Fortunately for me and anyone who puts that mod on before reaching 50 kills, not only will it not change but you won’t have a mission on your map that will just be there unplayed lol also for those who don’t know what happens when you reach 50 kills with skippy, you get a mission from Regina the gun will need a manufacture reset , if you go along with it and allow the reset, skippy is no longer and the guns new name will be daisy and will have a bland boring robotic voice with no charisma jokes or anything as a matter of fact V even talks about how the gun isn’t the same and that he misses the charismatic jokester in skippy. It really sucks and I learned my lesson I will always choose puppy love on my next play throughs.
if you have enough cool points you can force it to stay in stone cold killer mode

Skippy is overrated, i think even in headshot mode. From midgame on i used the Achilles and Quasar (900dsp). Plus also get the free iconic Mark V Shingen prototype (also a good replacement for Skippy).
Does it permanently do headshots like skippy?
