  1. I can't speak Haitian Creole, and I'd guess 99.99% of the people who will play the game can't speak Haitian Creole, but doing a quick search suggests they still found native Haitian voice actors for the Haitian Creole dialogue. You can fault CDPR for a lot of things that went wrong with this game, but when it comes to voice acting, they deserve a lot of credit for going above and beyond.

  2. Those goddam voodoo boys burned Evelyn,. I hope you don't forget what they did… I love the way some of the side quests are really involved, stories in their own right.

  3. I really like how much of the story is really just coincidence and bad luck, instead of V being set up with a job meant to fail, to take the fall for someone else's crimes and conspiracy.
Getting trapped in Yorinobu's apartment was pure misfortune. Had they all moved a minute faster, or if Saburo's aircar had arrived a minute later, the whole heist would have gone without a hitch. Had Evelyn just done the thing the Voodoo-Boys had hired her and walked away, and not tried to steal the chip before they do, nothing would have happened to anyone.

  4. Street cred means people on the street talks about you, no?
    I imagine it'll be like:
"Heard about this new merch that's been making name for herself?"
    "V" wasn't? what's she done?"
"Heard she goes around town hacking every vending machine in sight."
    "…"

  5. Haiti was a french colony, and creole is derived from french, you can understand some of the words but it's also different, especially the grammar and the way it's written. There's a lot of different culture and influences in many aspects of Night City, languages, architecture, design, clothes, imo they did a really good job at making it feel real or at least believable.
