Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world, action-adventure story set in Night City, a megalopolis
obsessed with power, glamour and body modification. You play as V, a mercenary outlaw going after a one-of-a-kind implant that is the key to immortality. You can customize your character’s cyberware, skillset and playstyle, and explore a vast city where the choices you make shape the story and the world around you.

  3. “The most important kind of freedom is to be what you really are. You trade in your reality for a role. You trade in your sense for an act. You give up your ability to feel, and in exchange, put on a mask. There can't be any large-scale revolution until there's a personal revolution, on an individual level. It's got to happen inside first.”

  4. It's interesting to see how the approach differs depending on your level and available quickhacks and cyberware. I took this mission much later in the game, when I had a cyberdeck with 14 RAM, a system reset quickhack, and a double jump. I found a way to jump straight into the upper floor, system reset everyone, and threw Jatoro's body from a window instead of carrying him back across the whole building.

I really like the way you play most games, just wish you speed up a little. I mean, one episode a day? I would take a looong time to finish.

  5. 5:45 you can absolutely rush into any place you see, but yes, generally, there are ways besides brute force approach. Also, feel free to quick-save and try stuff out :D. Edit: you really should save more often.
15:45 – yes you can, breach protocol pauses the game, so hack away. And yeah access points are a pretty solid way to get money, actually.
33:05 well, not really. Other guys still give exp and loot ;d.
46:55 you don't always have to trust the minimap, as it mostly takes you alongside roads, and often enough direct routes are way shorter.

  6. For me, the best weapon ended up to be a revolver with silencer. Not so good DPS but one shot is enough in the head with most enemies. That's the one I use the most in almost every situations xD

  7. ok, some explanations: you an just use the breach protocol for machines/people who are connected to a network. the machines which have the red symbol on them symbolize they can be "jacked into" but this gives you just money and some crafting components, which could come in handy later. they dont do anything in terms of hacking though. you just have a few available quickhacks. I also think the hacking minigame is pretty easy. you can combine different rows, you just gotta pay attention to the columns on the right hand side which are needed. you can not really "fail", worst case scenario you don
t get anything and just jack in again. It gets somewhat dull after a while but i would recommend doing it anways wherever you come across them, since they mean free cash and items. even if the crafting stuff or items are not useful to you, you still can sell them later on. so Id recommend always to do them wherever you happen to come across these red symbols. upgrade your cyberware or purchase new quickhacks to try different things (i.e. you can turn enemies temporarily blind, block their weapons overheat them, poison them and all sorts of othe stuff with the different quickhacks). In later missions for example, instead of taking out turrets or drones i either shut them off or let them fight for me. stealth is very much a option if you think more vertically. i basically jumped across the roof for the Jotoro mission, entered through a open windows, knocked everyone on the floor out and then instead of killing jotoro knocked him unconscious and sneaked out as if nothing happend… Regina or her client can then go on and do something to him, that was my thinking… make him pay for his deeds, a quick death would have been way to merciful IMO. but I also tried bursttng in and slicing everyone up with my Katana first time around… not a good idea. I am playing a hybrid between sniper specialist and netrunner, so kind of specialized and not exactly great in body and tech, which makes opening doors harder. there are almost always other ways to enter buildings though, you just have to keep your eyes peeled.

  8. There are always other ways. I think you can play the entire game without using weapons or ever getting spotted. Would take a lot of reloading, but generally there's always options to get to everything sneakily.

  9. For anyone interested in using hacking against enemies, Victor sells the Stephenson cyberdeck. 25,000 eddies seems like a lot early on, but it flat out triples your hacking stats compared to the starting cyberdeck! You can easily get 12 RAM early on with this baby, and equip 5 types of quickhack attacks. This thing pays for itself!

  10. Spoilers

Thought Evelyn would just be another double crossing business woman; ruthless, manipulative, etc, turns out she’s just another person struggling to survive in Night City and paid the price for it. This game has many problems, but by God the story itself is fantastic and the characters are all top notch.
