Ppl are actually playing cyberjunk 76????
I always play on performance mode, I remember someone flexing about ray tracing on black ops cold war voice chat and guess what he was at the bottom of the match scoreboard with a negative kd because he did not know about input latency/response time being affected.
Elden Ring Raytracing
-No DLSS, FSR
-No RTX GI
-Still screen space reflection
-RTX Shadow supported
-RTX ambient occlusion supported
Well…
All we need is 4K @ 60fps. All the other stuff (8K, 120fps, RT, etc)should be the focus next gen or the one after.
You know RT is on when you lose half your frames
not worth it
The performance is abysmal than it already is with raytracing on in this game
I played PC games for the longest time on the Family computer which was kind of a potato, so I got very used to just trying to optimise for frames. That habit hasn't gone anywhere so yeah, I'm sticking with framerates over graphics haha.
Does anyone gets confused pronouncing GameSpot to GameStop? Also does this brand still exists?
The fact PS5 can’t run many RT games in 60 shows just how behind ‘Next gen’ these consoles are.
Absolute scam.
Por esta clase de Juegazos es q vala la pena ser amante de los juegos con tantos detalles gráficos es como vivir en ese mundo virtual imprecipnate!!!
I turned raytracing on with elden ring on series X and it looked bad.. just leave it in quality it looks way better
RTX what? You and IGN both totally failed to mention what RTX is implemented, is it shadows? GI? Reflections? Why have all of you guys become so technically incompetent?
I’ve seen a few people say the ray tracing option was added on Series S and X but as an S owner I’m fairly sure it’s just on the X. My two options remain the same, performance and quality. It might now just be auto enabled in quality mode but I’m kind of doubtful.
Cyberpunk out here adding better ray tracing but not fixing they bugs n spotty enemy n npc a.I 🤦♂️
Fromsoftware has always been chit on the technical side of things. I definitely expected ray tracing to be poorly implemented.
Ps5 performance was already kinda meh
Soo….this good newsss???
Ah yes Ray-Tracing so ppl can run around the game like they’re tactical sprinting on call of duty never actually appreciating the scenery while running half the frames
If it can't run without 60fps it's not normally worth it. The only exception I've experienced with 30 40fps with Ray tray looking and running good was Hogwarts.
I wonder what this means for the 1.7 update or the upcoming expansion . Wonder if they'll release around similar times
I hate that my 3070 is already woefully outdated. I cannot keep up with PC gaming
Loaded up my character, 3080, 32gb ram, 10700k. Was wondering why it was running at 39fps at times. Then I notice the dreaded Ray Tracing.1440p
I don’t need 60 FPS to be decent at a video game I usually due the quality mode unless it’s a first person shooter or a competitive game but I understand that’s not a popular opinion
When it comes to Elden Ring, I'm assuming when they say Ray Tracing, they mean Ray Traced Shadows? because I highly doubt people would be in the middle of a fight Staring at Up side down Reflected Movements on water puddles…
and just to Pre-block (What about comments): to the people about to ask, Well who's staring at shadows in the middle of a fight? well I don't know either, but the reason ray tracing shadows makes more sense, would be because of the sceneries in Elden Ring, I guess there could also be made a relatively decent argument for Ray traced Lighting, but when most of the lighting in Elden Ring is part of a big environments I wonder if:
1 – It would look that much better?
2 – If the difference would at least be significant?
Definitely turning on RT wherever I can. It pleases my 3D artist eyeballs and runs well on the 4090.
so long as I have at least 60 fps I'm good, give me maxed out ultra graphics with full ray tracing.
I’m currently playing re4 remake with rt and hair strands and it runs surprisingly well on ps5. I mean it’s not stable 60 but also not 30. It’s around 45-55. Great game btw 🙂
