  1. This dude just LOOOVES advertising man. Felt like 20% actual opinion and input and 80% WE AT FUNCOM AND OUR WORLD CLASS LEADING DEVELOPERS.. Dude didn't really share much that we didn't already know honestly and I felt like more could have been said about management of projects, staff etc.

Yes we should be worried about tencent censoring games and pushing their own agenda. They're a big player in China and their culture is based around censorship and political agendas, way more than the West.

  2. Funcom has been around a long while now and they used to have one of my favorite adventure games of all time "The Longest Journey" sadly they transitioned to focus on "games as a service" primarily but I guess that was the only way they could survive to this day at least they just gave away the IP to Ragnar the series creator of The Longest Journey when he asked for it a few years back which makes them one of the few willing to let go of an IP without much hassle unlike many of the other companies out there.

  3. Last week I went to counseling for the first time, I wanted to know if the guy could help me with marriage counseling, and one of the only questions that I had for him was "are you married?" that is exactly the same vibe that I got when you asked him if he plays video games.

  4. I think games fail because there's too many woke types in the dev teams. You're discriminated against if you're not woke. Fired or can't get employment into the entertainment industry at all.

  7. I'm exercising my right to vote with my wallet and not buying anything from companies owned by Tencent. It's not really convincing to say there's no censorship, considering the role the party plays in company ownership in china. Not to mention that if you speak up, next time you go to china you might just come back less a kidney…

  8. I dont see a Dune survival PvP centric game going anywhere, especially if forced. People have wanted a grand MMORPG of this for years. I hope I'm wrong but I am so gutted at this decision.

  9. Regarding Keyboard and mouse on console, it blows my mind that the upcoming Diablo 2 Resurrected doesn't support KBM on consoles. The game is 20 years old and was built for KBM.

I played the beta the movement and quick skill cast is better on controller but literally everything else is worse. People have been complaining on Reddit, forums and even MrllamaSC survey that he gives to the developer that they want it and they have just ignored the console players.
