After 50 kills Skippy permanently switch modes to the opposite. So if you want Stone Cold killer then choose Puppy-Loving Pacifist. After you kill 50 enemies with pacifist mode skippy will tell why you prefer crippling people over killing. If you select the option "I don't know", it will switch to the headshot mode.

just use PAX on stone cold killer mode, it makes the gun non lethal and it doesnt force the pacifist mode. you still get all bonuses for headshot, you just dont actually kill.
If you've already chosen stone cold killer, put the pax mod on. Last I checked, it bugs the gun out and you can just keep using it

I have a question I picked puppy loving pacifist so that I could get the switch. Do you only have to to incapacitate them or do you have to full on kill them?
Honestly doesn’t matter what you choose. There’s a quest later on that the gun remembers whose it’s original owner is

You can keep Skippy and return him to Regina. You need to use the duplication exploit and the game will only take one version from you.
you can custom the gun and add a piece on it, if you equip the piece who make your bullet non lethal, the gun stay in cold killer every time.
My question is: if, when on PLP mode, you walk up to a ninja you downed and shoot him in the head, does it still count on your req 50?

I started it on puppy loving pacifist and i'm currently on 100+ kills with it and it won't switch modes.
My first playthrough I started it on stone cold killer and the quest worked fine.
Just do stone cold killer and add pax
