  1. There is one particular type of implant that I want your opinion on and that's artificial skulls, specifically with their ability to provide for the brain. The most dangerous injuries that humans can receive, not just in the cyberpunk universe but out own too, are those that restrict/prevent our brain from getting the necessary resources it needs to survive. Aare they not?

With that said, is there the potential for having artificial skulls that could reduce the likelihood of death in the case of injury? I'm not just talking about making our skulls more durable. What if in the case of decapitation, or perhaps a critically injured heart that cannot pump blood around the body, there is a separate hole in the skull in which a tube leading to an artificial heart can pump in lieu of the original heart. Maybe in an instance where internal bleeding has occurred, the skull would have tiny holes open up that allow the excess blood from internal bleeding to dissipate. Maybe you don't even need your brain attached to the body you are using physically, and your skull and brain is located in a safe location so if your body is destroyed, your brain and skull isn't. You'd just pilot your body remotely.

  2. the bullet time – like thingy, when the screen goes greenish – blue-ish .. yes! that's how you as the user view the world when you activate the bullet time effect. if you were to see your enemies using it, they'd suddenly vanish and then appear for a mere second before vanishing again, it looks like they are literally teleporting.

the wire is made from heated steel and its job is to work like a lava saw.
the mantis blades have 3 variations.
    1- normal, just regular blades.
2- fire blades, for humanoid enemies makes i easier to severe their flesh.
3- electric, best for bots and whatnot. you attack with steel empowered with an electrical current.

    Synapse Burnout quick hack:
Causes the brain to suffer from stroke-like symptoms: paresis, visual and speech disorders, and even loss of balance.

    effects:
    rare variety:
    ・Lethal.
・Deals moderate damage that scales higher based on how much Health the target is missing. Less effective against, drones, mechs, and robots.

    epic:
・If the target was defeated by this quickhack, they burst into flames, causing enemies within a 6-meter radius to panic.

    legendary:
・Passive While Equipped: Defeating an enemy with any quickhack causes nearby enemies to panic.

    the player also had:
    Reboot Optics:
When you pay for expensive optical implants, you leave behind your worries of dry eyes, allergy, irritation, and pink eye. But not blindness.

Uncommon ・Resets an enemy's optical cyberware, rendering them temporarily blind.
Rare ・Spreads to the nearest enemy within 8 meters.
    Epic ・Greatly increases effect duration.
Legendary ・Passive While Equipped: Unlocks the Optics Jammer daemon for use in Breach Protocol.

    Overheat:
When you bodily fluids begin to boil, it becomes pretty difficult to focus on much else.

    Uncommon ・Non-Lethal
・Applies Burn to the target, dealing high damage over time. Less effective against drones, mechs, and robots.
Rare ・Targets affected by Burn from Overheat are unable to perform actions.
Epic ・Burn from Overheat lasts significantly longer. (13.35 sec)
Legendary ・Targets affected by Burn from Overheat are unable to use cyberware abilities.

    Cyberpsychosis:
If cyberpsychos are an invention of the tabloids, then who was behind yesterday's massacre of 76 people at 7th Hell?" Op-ed expert, Night City Herald.

    Epic ・Lethal.
・Induces a cyberpsychosis-like state in the target, causing them to attack both enemies and allies.
・Sets the status of drones, mechs, and robots to friendly, making them turn against your enemies.
・If no other allies are nearby, the target will commit suicide.
Legendary ・Passive While Equipped: Enemies under the effect of any quickhack will no longer try to avoid inflicting friendly fire.

    Contagion:
Did you know most alloys used in cyberware manufacturing contains trace amounts of toxic elements such as lead, cadmium, and mercury? And that the safeguards keeping them from your bloodstream can be broken? Well you're not alone.

    Uncommon ・Non-Lethal.
・Deals low damage that applies Poison to the target. Spreads to 2 targets within an 8-meter radius. Effective against closely grouped targets.
    Rare ・Poison lasts significantly longer.
Epic ・Each subsequent target receives 30% more damage from Contagion.
Legendary ・Passive While Equipped: All quickhacks capable of spreading to multiple targets can jump 1 additional time(s).

what you saw happening was: the triggered quick hack "most likely because of the OS type" spread to the other guys and they both died due to uploading to them the viruses.
my built is netrunner. and i got to clean off entire rooms without even setting a toe in them.
    OS types:
    cyberdecks
Cyberdecks grant you access to quickhacks, which lets you attack enemy systems from a distance and control various machines in the environment.

To fully utilize this cyberware, it is mandatory to put in points into the Intelligence Attribute and its perk trees. This increases your damage while using quickhacks, unleashing your inner Rache Bartmoss!

    Sandevistan
Upon activation, Sandevistans slows down time and will let you take down enemies before they even realize who did it! The best Sandevistans requires you to put points into your Reflexes Attribute.

Sandevistan also grants you boosts in your overall damage, crit chance, and crit damage. It allows you to be aggressive while being too fast to be recognized!

don't forget that the anime is BASED on the game, not the other way around.

    Berserks
Berserk grants you a temporary boost in stats when activated and gives you the ability to do a Superhero Landing, which creates shockwaves when you fall from a high enough height. To equip the best Berserks, put in points into your Body Attribute tree.

Melee builds benefit the most in with this cyberware. It keeps you alive while you mow down pesky mobs!

  3. 2:44 Yes, you can get fortified ankles cyberware that basically gives you the ability to charge your jumps and go high. Another is reinforced tendons that allow you to jump once in midair. Also yes, that screen effect is the sandevistan in use. The Synapse Burnout at 7:15 basically fries the person's brain, literally. Flames and sparks shoot out of their eye sockets due to their brains burning, and the deaths are not instant. It is very painful.

  4. @7:20 The Quickhack Synapse Burnout does just that, causes cortical implants to rapidly heat up and fry themselves, usually killing the person, or at the very least dealing a large amount of damage. In game it deals more damage the lower the targets health is. The reason it loaded to multiple targets is because the player has a Cyberdeck which allows quickhacks that normally only target one person, to affect several enemies in a small area.

  5. Synapse burnout is a quickhack that directly attacks the victims brain.
According to the description it can cause stroke like symptoms like slurred speech, Hemiparesis etc.
On higher levels it can literally set the targets brain on fire.
I think it can achieves this because the cyberware can cause the bodys temperature to rise when used.
People called Netrunner have to either take a ice bath or wear protective clothing to prevent death from overheating due to their cyberware using a lot of processing power.
The quickhack likely sends a lot of Data to the targets cyberware in the brain which causes the brain to overload from too many electrical signals at once by the cyberware.
Imagine it like a DDOS attack on a server that crashed and overheated due to too much data being received at once.
As to why the qickhack managed to get 2 guys is because the player was using a piece of Cyberware that allows quickhacks like synapse burnout to spread to 1 more person that is nearby.

  6. Cyberpunk 2077 came out way way before edge runners so when u said its cool transfering it to gameplay its other way round on how they managed to put that into the anime making it 10x more badass

  7. At 7:07 paused it gives you the description of what synaps burnout does basicly in cyberpunk since alot of the people have cyber ware ur able to hack them and shut down their eyes there limbs there organs that are all cybernetic and also turn them into cyber pychos basicly turning them insane and addicted to cyberware

  8. The leg cyberware David is using in the anime is no doubt Reinforced Tendons, A.K.A Charge Jump. As for the stealth takedown for Mantis Blades… for some reason, the game considers that non-lethal. XD
