  1. First of I can hear Angry Joe screaming "8 hours!!!!!" About a Johnny Silverhand game 🤣

And I think they'll use the red engine for designing a screensaver, but everything else will be unreal for the foreseeable future.

  2. To the people still hoping that CDPR will keep using the REDEngine 4 and make it open source: first, in the last earning call, they boast about their new partnership with Epic Games and how Unreal 5 will significantly enhance the company's workflow stating that the next PRODUCTS will use UE5. Meaning, for the next 15 years, every new CDPR game is on UE 5. Secondly, making the engine open source is a delusion at this point. Why spend billions of dollars on R&D an Engine, maintain it for years, make sure it is property and than open it for the public the moment you throw it away? It will take years for this to happen if not at all because I'm sure it is connected to their servers and they won't bother rewriting the code just to make it available to everyone.

  3. Not surprised this was obvious the moment we found out their interest in unreal 5! The writing was on the damn wall. I can’t even be upset anymore lol them back tracking on their promises ever since the freakin game came out.

This game and its potential is something cdpr ultimately squandered. The game deserved better management for sure. I’m expecting the bare minimum for the 1 and sone expansion. They wanna quit working and want to move on from cyberpunk, it’s obvious.

  4. I think we need ta move on from cyberpunk as CD project red has, the best thing to come outta the whole cyberpunk debacle is maybe Bethesda and others might actually put out products that works instead of the usual buggie monstrosity that Modders have ta fix.

  5. 150 hours? I have almost 3000 hours clocked (admittedly I can guess a lot of that is because I end up asleep with the game still running) at any rate, I love the game and the world, even if there's some places that feel emptier than should be, I enjoy trying different builds and exploring night city, but to say that I don't see faults would be short sighted, you have pedestrians jumping in front of your car if you get too close to them, cops immediately coming after you if you hit a civilian with a stray during a gunfight with gangers, occasionally police warrants being put on v just for being too close, sometimes cyberware not working as it should or even activating upon using the command, I will take screenshots of glitches as I see them, one I often encounter probably from extended play sessions is that the world becomes black while the inhabitants turn a silver color, which is visually stunning in it's own way, but without the proper textures makes continued gameplay difficult, although either exiting the game or reloading a save will fix this issue

  6. No game will EVER be another "No Man's Sky" there just isn't a lot of companies that gaf about there material and take pride into their craft. We live in an era where putting out bullshit games is an acceptable standard as long as the clowns in suits and ties can get their hands on your money.

  7. it’s clear the end of Cyberpunk is near; as expected it’s been an additional storyline with a good amount of side quests, but once this is completed players are left again with limited npc conversion and no interactive activities after dlc gameplay – I mention this before and it seem I was right, falls back on the mod community to bring life back into the city once again,

  8. Red Engine despite all it's improvements over the years I think has hindered CDPR and moving to UR5 will unlock the potential of the teams there and make things better and faster with less issues so I understand the community's stand point but truly think it's for the best

  9. As I said before, CDPR should just fix the core and let modders do the rest of the job, that players want. Cyberpunk 2077 could be the next fallout and Skyrim, only if CDPR will let it go to enthusiasts and passionate people. Cyberpunk 2077 can last much longer than RED is expected due to modders.
