  1. Too bad Cyberpunk path tracing aint 100% path tracing like on unreal engine 5.1+ (if that is even full 100% path tracing which I doubt since we cant do it in real time in Nvidia omniverse even with 8 4090s)

  2. в следующий раз, убери весь HUD, чтоб можно было лицезреть красоту. А так же, скриншоты можно в самой игре делать, через встроенный фоторедактор, который так же использует трассировку путей))))) заранее благодарю)))) ты супер

  3. Yo you playing this game would be amazing, It also would be awesome if you really pushed it to the limts with the mods.

Stuff like increased NPC and crowd density, high res character mod, the 120FOV mod, and increased draw distance. With overdrive that would be really be the Limit of what gaming can do atm.

  4. Im sorry but the demonstration they showed looked way more impressive than this. They either downgraded it, or faked the demonstration to absurd levels of quality beyond what this new overdrive mode is capable of. For example, they mentioned you'll actually see more shadows cast on floors as well as overlapping shadows like real life since all lights are shadow casting yet despite knowing what to look for i could still see lack of shadows in certain areas that made the characters look like theyre floating despite the showcase looking so obvious. Dont get me wrong, there were improvements in shadows casted, definately. But the fact there were still lack of shadows in certain places there should have been was the forst red flag. But thats the smallest issue i have. Next, the bounce lighting supposedly is meant to tint the environment more cohesively based on the colours of the environment and in the showcase comparison, you could see the colour difference night and day but again, looking at this, the colours are exactly the same in all comparisons. Even another comparison vid on youtube i looked at, the colours were the same in each comparison.

Not to mention the biggest improvement i was expecting to see in the skin of npc's since the showcase showed the new technique essentially removed the weird evenly lit skin that games have and essentially more shading to fit the environment, and AGAIN this is hardly visible here. Infact you can clearly still see the weirdly evenly lit skin on npc's such as moxie receptionist. This is NOT what the path traced skin looked like in the demonstration and this honestly leads me to believe the showcase was fabricated to straight up be dishonest.

The biggest difference im seeing is more bloom and sharper reflections.

  5. When you say Overdrive makes the scene thicker, in my own words, i would say more 3D, because you can discriminate between what is farther and what is closer, and thus sucking-you-in. One does need a good display with good power quality to see the full effect though, especially untrained eyed. Luckily i have the the gear to see that and it does look really nice!

  6. You know this amazing fidelity kinda made me notice the characters weren’t moving like humans. Not that they are animated badly. It’s just that when the environment begins to feel very real it makes you want to hold everything to that standard. I also wanted that club to be packed with 300% more people. You know like in a Friday in London in some banging club.

I’m never happy 🤣🤦🏻‍♂️ but nah this is epic! I wonder if in future we will get RP servers on cyberpunk like we do gta5 or RDR2. Epic & Nvidia will make the metaverse. Not Meta.

  7. How do we enable this feature in UE5? I bought your lighting tut, which is awesome by the way. If this isnt a feature we can readily access, how would you recommend we get this look or close to it?

  8. overdrive mode is not path tracing, but the fact that you have screen space reflections and ambient occlusion settings while this overdrive mode is on is telling you this is not path tracing

  9. For me indirectly lit scenes are the most impressive. Like a dark room where bright light enters through a window and bounces that light and colour all over the room.

  10. 1:03 noticed at the bottom of settings it says “PT in photo mode” is off… does this need to be on to work in photo mode? And if so wouldn’t the photos you’re showing be the same? Also capturing in hdr would make video a lot better.. most newer phones have oleds and hdr.. hope you’re playing on an oled. Best way to play games by far..
