Earlier this week, a Reddit thread was created containing a curiously detailed amount of information potentially relevant to Cyberpunk upcoming update, Patch 1.5, and the game’s next-gen upgrade.

The following should be taken with a pinch of salt, but here’s what was said…

Patch 1.5 will be a soft re-launch for the title and release alongside the next-gen update.
Patch 1.5 will also change the game name to Cyberpunk 2077 Samurai Edition.
Barbershops, Garages, improved AI behaviors, a transmog system, a rebalanced loot system, and a new UI system are all due to be shipped with the next title update.
Free DLC updates will be announced and released after. These will include new weapons, new gameplay activities, and Apartment Customizations options.
Character interactions with prominent secondary characters, like Judy and Panam, will be more frequent.

In addition, a combat zone in the Pacifica region has been described as the first big post-launch expansion. However, this isn’t expected to arrive with Patch 1.5, at least not according to the leaks.

But, Should we believe them, though?
When you consider that a lot of the material referenced in the leaks was reportedly data-mined from Cyberpunk’s files, it makes sense. So we’re not sure what to believe right now.

The leak has suggested that CD Project Red is going to host a stream in February 2022 – however, we don’t think we’ll see this update for a while after that. When you consider the scale of these changes, we could be waiting longer.
