  1. Great vid, pretty accurate description of the corpo pathway with the dog eat dog type of structure. As well as a good explanation of the games world in general.

Also I had a strange theory on this game, what if this isn’t real but more like a story or memory of V’s that you gotta play through kinda like at the end of mass effect 3 where you find that your journey was nothing but a story being told down to a small child.

Anyway none the less great vid gave a lot to think bout even for potentially new players.

Oh and what are your thoughts of them employing a person from sweet baby inc, a company with a rep for tanking games and franchises do you think it’ll impact cyberpunk 2077’s sequel?

  2. Small note on the Megabuildings, they were just Night City's version of an in-universe Arcology, a self sustaining environmentally stable community that was made due to the severe climate change of the early 2000's.
One of the fun little (probably) unintentional things about the Megabuildings in particular though is that all of the stores and overlapping amenities make them look like indoor malls. Which were the quintessential hyper-capitalist experience of the everyday American back in the late 80's and 90's, back when Cyberpunk 2020 was being written. And I mean "I live in a mall that advertises itself as an ideal human habit" screams Cyberpunk,

  3. weird tangent but what I love about the world of Night City. Is how accurate it is to our world. What I mean is if I go to a section in NIght City. You'll see these GIANT buildings that are used for Corpo stuff or apartments. I know what you're gonna say, "But other games do that too". What I'm saying is other games tend to either keep these buildings as sorta of "Neutral", Like you dont know what specifically they are all you know is they're a giant building. But NightCity those buildings serve a purpose. In real life when I go to the city. Ill always see these giant buildings. BUT they weren’t there for decoration, They served a purpose, some corporations the other housing. I'm sorry if my explanation sounds weird. I just love this game and every time I replay it. I always notice something minuscule especially since I already know how the story goes. I get to focus on the really small stuff.

  4. I just thought of something interesting for you, what if this is a trilogy? I’ll try to explain it clearly if I can.

2077 – the darkest part of human history the dystopian world the first chapter in this series filled with crimes of murder and rape and extortion and so forth

Orion – new city new place less crime less poverty, I do believe it’s stated that night city is the worst place in America right the darkest part, so what if the new location is neutral?

???? – the final chapter the end of cyberpunk the destruction of the Blackwall and the rogue ai. What if with the theory in my other comment makes this game the good part of the trilogy where for the time being peace is back?

The reason I thought of this was 2 reasons
1- your constant vids they open up new possibilities on how the game is progressing through a trilogy series and how we’re gonna get there
2- the last thing Johnny says to you before returning to your body “ maybe I learnt something from you too V, to save my energy for 1 final big bang “ what if that big bang is johnnys return to help destroy the ai bringing about the good ending?

Oh and mikes comment on the game is bout saving yourself and not the world I think is wrong because as you save yourself you save those around you that save others, river ward and the weapons heist, and paralez and his mayor run all could lead to bigger changes that spread a ripple effect? Crazy idea I know but what if that were the case and if I’m not mistaken Orion is the constellation of the hunter and new location neutral setting?
