Good evening ladies and gents. Tonight we have another dive into Cyberpunk 2077’s turbulent past, this time focusing on a hyper specific location that was never realised in the game’s final product. This is, of course, a nightclub, the founding father of capitalist society.

So, join me for a dive into what was, and ultimately, could have been.

  1. This could be an interesting thing to try and "rebuild" using AAM. I really loved the video of you rebuilding the casino, and i'd be hyped to see more. You certainly have a vision and a passion for this kind of thing

  2. Okay, so this is one of the odder cut-content buildings we've seen. I can see why they put the shutters up on the inside of the windows, and that really should have been enough to do on all the windows, but putting in those additional false walls and ceilings seems utterly unneeded. Surely that's using up resources they don't need to?

  3. Feels like the area outside the megatower had a lot of thought put into the visuals seeing as it's the first place the player sees when they leave the tower, plus the area behind tom's diner and the path to the ripper doc. But would have been nice to have more usable aspects to it, like potentially this nightclub could have been used to meet with people for gigs or for players to use it for the roleplay aspect.

  4. Can you access the rooftop of the adjoining building in the wakako mission until death do us part? I can never see the way up there – it's in charter hill.

  5. Like a lot of it, ambition outpaced testing and shipping. Probably a lot of was scheduled in layers. Externals, rough internals, story, detail internals, and functionality.
Some stuff probably got through the first couple of layers only to be cut in the name of making schedule delivery. I'm sure the issues with engine and build tools didn't help.

  6. Did you ever find the 'stage set' used for that 'TV game show segment' where those prosthetic arms are wheeled out for one lucky winner? I know there is a story based at tv set used for that crucifixion. Was there another like that?

  8. man i hope we get some type of map editing mod tool in the future the community would go fucking crazy with that type of thing opening open areas finishing areas making totally new areas [i think the cut content side of things though is the interesting one. id bet theres more e3 footage that shows areas that were cut out.

  9. All the cut content put me off from buying the game for 3+ years. Actually, it's your channel's cut content videos that I stumbled onto that reignited my curiosity about Night City. There was a sale going on at the time for the ultimate edition on Steam, so I grabbed it. I enjoyed it for what it is today. It is finally a well-functioning facsimile of what it was meant to be, but they better get it right with a sequel. I have a feeling they won't get a 3rd chance.

  10. My brain wants to see this whole thing going with build H10 where there are these skywalks and ladders as a concurrent and connected complex with some semblance of a community. Truely it's the dev's determent that the setting was never put together as it would have been interesting to explore different section with grimy stories related to the residents, solve puzzles, and hack areas that never see the light of day. Like a lot of things there is a hollow shell where there could be mystery.

  11. Hard to tell at this point. I seem to remember right up until launch CDPR false advertising that nearly every building would be enterable. But considering what's in the game, or rather not in the game, that was just blatant lies!
Have to remember as well that the E3 trailer was completely fake, just a specific build just for E3.

  12. I love your videos showing cut content when I discovered your channel a few minutes ago from a recommendation. To be honest, I too am an enjoyer of cut content from games, literally trying to break the game to explore them.

  13. This video really makes me curious what may be there, if anything, in the earliest builds post launch.
I happen to have saved my GOG builds throughout the various upgrades, which I'm glad since they make many changes I didn't like mixed with those I did.
I might have to install an older version like 1.04 (day 1 patch I believe) and check this out… or see if I can glitch my PS4 disc somehow to get there through save sync.

  14. Can you cover "Below Deck"? A nightclub that was discussed during pre-release trailers and commentary. It might be visible in the first trailer, and it was discussed in the "frame by frame" promo they did after E3. There's also the massive ad for it in Japantown, and other smaller logos throughout NC.

  15. Alright I understand the doubts but however he’s right about the building being cut content cause this building was a resort night club were u would meet up with Meredith Stout as part of her romance but instead CDPR completely cut that out & all we got with Meredith was just that beginning sequence where u help her against the Malestroms who stole her convoy.

  16. When you exit the NCART at the Congress & MLK station in Heywood and go to the right, there's this fancy area called Advocet Hotel, where a bunch of NPCs spawn and sit around the table set up. Do you think this is cut content, or something added next to the NCART station for scenery?

  17. im pretty sure theres at least 20hrs of content that was cut out I remember seeing screenshots of missions that should have been in game that you were supposed to do with jackie and tbug which would have been great for 1st act of the game ending it with the Konpeki mission before meeting johnny.
