Have you tried out the Hardcore22V2 mod with this? It's a combat overhaul/rebalance mod that makes it feel a bit more like Insurgency and similar games. I think it could make for a nice combination.
Some other mods that I really like to use with Hardcore22V2, are these: Night City Alive, Enemies of Night City, Law Enforcement Overhaul, Ragdoll Physics Overhaul and Average Hackers Lazy Rebuild (Amateur Hackers).
These mods are indeed amazing. I'm so excited for the sequel with UE5 and the next generation of GPUs, etc. And VR someday soon, I hope.
