Really Jingles? You're criticizing how Panam talks **now**? She's had an unusual avoidance of contractions since you met her, and "but a few hours till dawn" is what you complain about?
I'm starting to think you're not actually listening to her unless you can't see her rear.
Hardwired is a really great book with great characters. C'boys take down of the privateers, and the double cross at the farm house being favorite scenes. Right up there with snow crash. Shame they never made a movie..then again may be it isn't.
To quote the legendary "Businessman" Hondo Ohnaka "You know what I always say, speak softly and drive a big tank" Though I realize Panam doesn't have the speak softly part down
Titanicus (Warhammer 40k) is another great "interface with the Machine" book
Punch card tech? Decades old in 2077? ! someone needs a refresher coarse in in math and History! Punch cards are 1940's tech or older. In 2077 It would be the equivalent of a Cavemans' club being used too drive nails. Granted it would get the job done. but why? when you can use a pneumatic nail gun!

Hey Jingles. Was it vising day at the old folks homes?
At 18:11 — they moved the train and coupled it to the cars when you were snooping about on the top of the train station's control tower. You can see it moving forward from the spare track as you activate the punch card and talk to Panam. It moves forward, they switch the track, then it reverses into the cars to couple with them.
Jingles was definitely staring at Panam ass while going up those stairs.

Hardwired was an excellent book. It is also a sourcebook for the Cyberpunk tabletop RPG.
