  1. Excuse me but please take the time to understand, releasing a unfinished game only to constantly keep working on it should NOT be praised or awarded… good for them for turning a bad game into something better, but has anyone seen or played the old gen versions? I’m guessing not otherwise it would not have won or even been nominated.

    Have a good day!

  2. They didn't deserve the Award. Most buggy game ever at lauch that the game stores literally stopped selling it for a while. Best on going game is fortnite. Millions of people playing it new lego and rocket mode also music mode. But cyberjunk makes a dlc and few patches and its the best on going game of 2023? Bruh 😂

  3. It became an ongoing game because they needed to fix those bugs for 3 years, and by the way Game Awards, you should lessen this appearance of Hollywood celebrities who had no involvement in video games, like voice or likeness used, Video Game devs and voice talent should be taking more of the spotlight

  4. This award is basically the game industry saying "See, the product can be in a horrible state at release, and we can still profit." The idea behind this award is a big part of the problem with modern games. It should be a mark of shame.

Well done to the passionate developers that are putting the time and effort to getting the game into an acceptable state. I'm sorry you didn't get the time you needed. Shame on any of the higher ups that knew what state the game was in and chose to take money from people regardless.

  5. Congrats To CD PROJEKT RED 👏💯 they deserve it after multiple patches and updates, but why does Anthony Mackie has more time to tell shitty jokes on stage while the actual game dev only had like 30 seconds of speech Before they get kicked off?

  6. I'd rather want CP2077 to win instead of genshin. Yall genshin fans forgot that the devs dont listen to you. If they did, we would already have better QoL options like artifact loadouts, skip button, etc

  7. Reminder for the next Single player game that wins this award, it means that your game is buggy, incomplete, with so many false promises, and overhype. you can't be proud of the basis of your awards with the likes of No Man Sky and Cyberpunk., two games released in Full Games but in fact, is an early Access Game.
