23% performance increase by just a software change? What does the new Driver do?
Potentially, these improvements could find their way into stable drivers and Windows builds. Beta driver 550.09 when used on the Windows Insider Canary channel supports WDDM 3.2 (no official changelog is available for WDDM 3.2 yet.)

SSR on the right is a lot more grainy, turning SSR below ultra saves tons of perf in this game.
hey bud did you try it with other cpu intensive titles?? like let's say cs2 or Apex legends?
I read that you tried it on other games but were those like cpu bound too? Cyberpunk is utilizing multi cores better than most games right now so i think this new windows update might have increased cpu performance , no clue tho just a roughn guess.
compare the reflections in the puddle. One side uses Ray Reconstruction, one does not. You are comparing two different settings.
Woah, that's amazing. Hope you try some other games just to see if driver brings any additional improvements to them. In any case, thank you for the vid. Interessting about Win insider build improvements
Are you sure that you used the EXACT same settings between the different Windows versions/drivers?
550.09 driver is around 11 months old based on build date and around 5 months old since it was first pushed to Windows Insider builds, it's not a new BETA driver at all.
almost unbelievable, so what gives cause thats kinda huge improve from a soft alone
Test more games like other Path traced games like Portal and Alanwake2(semi), Shadow of Tomb Raider is also multicore frendly at low GPU settings intesting how it could do in a older game
Disclaimer. Ray reconstruction not being enabled is the reason for the performance uplift.
