Jeff Bakalar has detailed first impressions of his first 20 hours in Cyberpunk 2077, including the moment-to-moment gameplay beats, its performance on PC and of course, Keanu Reeves.

The game is not without its fair share of bugs and glitches– there are many. But in his review Jeff says Cyberpunk 2077’s Night City is a compelling enough locale to see the main storyline through, even if the side quests and extra activities don’t offer much beyond busywork.

  1. Only on ps5 with compatibility mode is incorrect… ps4 out of the gate install that looks STUNNING is real…a complete next-gen update is true but is a least 2 yr out…ps4 pro till ps5 is stable is the recommended path for most of us…and btw an open world rpg incomplete game by it's very own definition is a must not a defect Sir…otherwise why even bother…

  2. Not fair? They took like 9 years to release it and delayed it like 5 times. How is that not fair? They made an average game at best and took literally forever to make it.

  3. That's the main problem with this game, it looks amazing if you can max it out, but majority of people won't be able to. First, you need either Nvidia RTX 3080/3090 or AMD RX 6800XT/6900XT with a decent 8 core CPU and NVME SSD for your storage. However majority of people can't afford this hardware, or even if you can, can you find the above-mentioned GPUs in your country at all? If you have mid-range PC, this game will look horrible on your PC, and on top of that, graphical settings do not affect your average FPS that much, that is you don't really gain much FPS if you turn settings from ultra to medium yet the game will look a lot worse. Then, there are various bugs and glitches which are annoying, but that can be fixed through patches obviously. However, what cannot be fixed by a lot in my opinion, is system requirements. For now, if you have anything below GTX 1070/RTX 2060 don't even bother playing this game.

  4. I’m so glad it’s first person instead of third. Third person just puts crap in the way of the camera and looking at the back of your own head and your shoulders isn’t exactly meaningful.

  5. YOU LIED. Its a disaster. The biggest problem with Cyberpunk is the many streamers like you that overhyped and continue to about a broken game. The biggest let down, more than Anthem. You are obviously paid to lie. This game is a scam and you are part of it.

  6. This seems like the Heaven's Gate of video games. As a dude was eating Chinese food… and talking about story stuff, his chop sticks began cloning in mid air… and he had two extra pairs of chopsticks floating around by the end of the conversation… it's immersion breaking beyond anything I could imagine being possible. The bug created more assets…
