  1. I saw it as cure Del of what seems to be Robo-schizophrenia, force him and all of his alternate personalities into a "get along" shirt, or kill a potential rogue AI.

In terms of the outcome, I feel it goes Purge (Del stays Del and his rogues are no longer trying to kill citizens), Destroy (Del is dead, and now his directionless children get to go out into a cruel world that will probably hunt them down either because they are rogue AI or because they would fetch a good price on the scrap market), Merge (That conversation with him tells me I just made a Rogue AI that isn't stuck outside the Blackwall and has a fleet of armored combat cars in real space.)

  2. Setting the AIs free is bit more dangerous because there Glados and the road rage AIs and the reset is just a Band-Aid because it'll happen again so merging the AIs is the most logical thing to do

  3. When you think about it, any of the options whether merge or destroy really actually count as Destroying Del as he was, so thus both are relatively valid options when you think about it, though the god del is a bit weird he does admit he has much to learn, afterall once merged he has to completely pull himself together. I doubt whatever patch work we did or do really helps a whole lot in this regard since all we did was merge them all, not actually completely morphed them all together. So that could be what del went to go do in the end of the quest was put himself back together and see what there was to learn and do outside of the physical world.

While if you release the children as they are, chaos takes over as some just mind their own business and enjoy life, while others we do know kill off people on the average…plus if we let them go, they are bound to be in far far greater danger than normal for once the one rogue is explored and found and experimented on, the others will very easily be tracked down via their built in trackers, meaning their lives will be extremely short as is.

  4. I tend to disagree, every one of the rogue Delamains were psychotic in one form or another. There was even a Glados version and if you've played Portal you know just how homicidal Glados is, not to mention she tries to kill you. Each seemed a caricature of some form of psychosis which makes them dangerous. The merge option is also risky. This new merged Delamain also seems like a potential danger to humanity as much as any rogue AI in the Cyberpunk universe. That said I do like this option more than the destroy option. While dangerous this Delamain has the potential to be either good overall or at least benign. I also find it more interesting as a storyline than destroying Delamain. Lastly resetting Delamain seems to be the safest option. Oh, there's also the fact that Johnny's an asshole. We're supposed to trust his moral judgement? I don't think so.

  5. I was really, really, really hoping that "THE GOOD ENDING" in the game was going to be merging the AI, and then at the very end, in Mikoshi, God-tier Delamaine swoops in, and lets you know he's discovered a way for you to save yourself and Johnny, because at that point, Del is like a God of the AI world (akin to ALT), so if anyone was gonna put out a magic card to save the day, it was going to be that.

And then the only way you actually get that good ending is to have done the pre-req quests in the right way. A nice little nod that your actions in the past impact the future.

  6. Idk seeing the Personalities of "Clarice, GLaDOS " and the one car that warns you to stay away from him are obviously soon to be freaking mass murders. How could free them be the best end if you are not a super psychic Rockerboy like Johnny. I'd never free them, merge them at the max.

  7. I will have to disagree with your reasoning behind the destroy ending in mass effect. Cause sure… there is a small chance Shepard still lives, but there is no true peace and ending to the cycle. You just delay the inevitable continuation of the cycle the reapers were trying to prevent. Synthesis is the best ending.yes Shepard dies, but their death bring about a change that truly helps the galaxy, and bring about prosperity to the galaxy that was not there before.

  8. One benefit of merging is that you potentially have super AI that somewhat owes you favor. Which is good considering there is a pretty large chance you'll end up being a construct yourself.

  9. I was just playing Cyberpunk and had this mission be selected automatically, and YouTube is like, "*pssssss hey buddy, do want Delemain dead?" I'm a little freaked out, regsrdless, well timing my dude.

  10. I don´t agree with the take that the "merged Delamain" has an existential crisis. The way I perceive it is that by merging all the AIs into one he goes through a sort of apotheosis. Becoming "whole". He has grown past the trifling matters like driving taxis and went to explore the newly discovered horizons.
