Cyberpunk 2077: Why the Devil Ending is ACTUALLY the WORST ENDING (Arasaka & The 5th Corporate War)

Cyberpunk shows us a fictional world where every corporation is a world power in and of themselves. All these corporations are corrupt, abusive, dangerous, and cause immeasurable human suffering—and death—across the planet. But no single megacorp in the entire Cyberpunk universe is as dangerous and as insidious as the Arasaka Corporation. The one company led by the only man with the power and the potential to cause a new world war just with his schemes for world domination. The Relic and the promise of immortality are Arasaka’s latest and biggest selling points. But there’s one major secret behind Mikoshi and the Relic and the corporation’s entire “Secure Your Soul program.” Something that proves the Devil Ending is without a doubt the worst ending in Cyberpunk 2077. One that all but guarantees that 5th Corporate War is on the horizon in the very near future.

  1. oh yeah i'll definitly always stick around to watch your theory videos and mods
just talking about the game in general, the possibilities of each endings , the easter eggs connecting the stories and which ending suit the most or is the best as a good ending regarding all the characters (even Johnny) wether it's Edgerunner or 2077,everything is fun

My opinion about the best ending or at least which one make more sens especially after the DLC came out hasen't changed, the secret ending is (in my opinion only) what bring a kind of justice in Cyberpunk 2077 to all characters so far & prevent Arasaka to bring war with their bullshit projects
i know the secret ending is not a good happy ending in a proper way but to me if we look at the choices, it's somewhat a good ending in the end, survive in the real world with a limited pending time over V's head or get through the black wall far from any influance with Alt & Johnny to live a probably somewhat normal life in a digital world, no matter the choice ALT's virus will kill any person connected to Arasaka
what happen next with others corporations after the outcomes tho the only hope is a new nightcity legend to come.

  2. You have a pleasant voice, but you're a lit quiet in this video at least. I'm having trouble hearing you above background music.
    Otherwise interesting video.

  3. It's the worse ending because it's the one you get if you rush the game: nobody to call to do an "alternative" ending. You just do what you were setup to do. You ain't fighting, just following the path that was drawn for you.

  4. What makes the Devil ending the worst is that Takemura, a guy you may get to call friend by the time you're to meet with Hanako at Embers comes to you at the clinic and tells you that selling your engram to Anders Hellman is the best thing for you. The contract he brings, if read with zoom, is literally 'Hanako approves the sale of <insert name here>'s engram to Anders Hellman'. And Takemura tells you it's for your own good. Should have let Smasher's morons zero him
