  1. Oh damn Big Dan, one of your infrequent failures in this one. Saul DOES die, Panam texts you about it and it actually ruins your relationship w/ her. She gets real real pissed and cuts contact with V. Probably just didn’t wait long enough in game before doing the ending. But yeah, it’s there.

  2. Panam is a toxic character. She is spoiled, unhinged and is always relying on others to save her ass when things go pear shapped. I was honestly disappointed that there were no consequences for helping her with the basilisk. It was an idiotic plan that by all rights should've blown in her face.

  3. Eh, I never really liked Panam…and to see that her acting like a bitch leads to what looks like a lonely bad ending makes me giggle. I am impressed that CDPR actually made very different dialogues and endings for the characters. River in jail is still my favorite lmao.
I wish there were more girls "to romance" though, and of course many more characters whose endings could be changed by V's decisions.

Perhaps on my next playthrough I will act like a complete asshole to every NPC hahaha

  4. I never liked Panam or her attitude personally but I always helped her because that's who I am as a person. But to see how she acts and what she says when you refuse to help her get her revenge speaks volumes about her selfishness and the dangerous chip on her shoulder. Then I look back at everything you do for her and it's kind of always about her and what she wants. While Saul is unimaginative and unwilling to make the harder choices. He'd rather do what's easy to satisfy and protect the family. He always did things with everyone else in mind and completely ignored himself. While Panam is willing to live on the edge a little more than Saul. Without YOU though as V to pull Panams weight, she pretty much gets dealt some major karma for her hubris. It's appropriate that both her and Saul end up working together to maintain the Aldecaldos, because regardless of their fights they compliment each other. But I'd say both Panam and Saul have A LOT to learn from each other still.

  5. Bruh, that phone call from Panam at the end actually hurt to watch. Never knew it existed jp until this point, I've finished 8 playthroughs of this game and not one of them did I ever of ghosting Panam. Her character is too good.

  6. This is exactly why Panam never deserved the attention she got. She is wholly irrational, wreckless, and just annoying.
A person like that in the real world ends up hurting everyone around before ending up alone. Girl's got issues that nobody should be a part of.

  7. I hate Panam so much it hurts me that she's a character in NC. Here's a full breakdown:

    The Rogue Encounter
    – Rogue basically offered Panam's car and merch in it to appease the Wraiths, and keep the Aldecaldos low-key because she knows they're struggling. Of course she throws a temper tantrum at Rogue.

    Nash Raid
    – V's just helped her get her car back, most of us probably killed everyone- this is the first time you see her risk someone's life for her selfish desires. Nash wasn't dead so she throws a tantrum at you.

    AV Raid
    – This is the ONLY time she has a plan that doesn't focus on sending someone to get what she wants. Of course, as a competent Nomad with a family, she conveniently forgets that the main livelihood of Aldecaldos for the time being was scavenging, aside from menial gigs- she also conveniently forgets that EMP blasts destroy comms systems, so she somehow doesn't bother contacting the clan before blasting the solar arrays.

Even though she didn't force someone into it, she still managed to kill Scorpion and others.

    Saul Kidnapped
    – Send V to kill everyone.

    Basilisk Raid
    – Send V to kill everyone. Regardless if you agree or not she still somehow manages to throw a temper tantrum, but somehow you're the "bitch" if you reject her. What the fuck is she going to do with a Basilisk anyways?

    Aldecaldos Endings
    – Send Aldecaldos to die. After you leave NC, tell me what the fuck is left of Aldecaldos? Sure, you have Panam's smelly ass since people never noticed there are no baths in the camp, but the Caldos lost probably more than half of their people due to Panam's fuckery, and then you have a Basilisk. Wow. Such tank, much wow. How you gonna make a living off of that outside of NC?

She's got no plans to help V aside from fucking him/her.

Saul on the other hand was a level-headed leader, had the same idea of staying lowkey and joining Snake Nation instead of letting everyone die. Gave up his seat as leader when he thought he was wrong.

On the other hand, Panam never even had a character arc, no maturation whatsoever.

  8. If you rescue Saul but then tell Panam you don't wanna get involved when you go back to the camp and then tattle tale on her to Saul, Saul will gift you a pretty cool car.
