  1. Wow, I never knew Yorinobu was hit with Soulkiller & then implanted inside a cloned body of himself. This really makes me wonder if one of the future story expansions will have V ally themselves with Yorinobu, & in return, Yorinobu will clone a body of both them & Johnny so that they can both live in the end.

It's not likely we'll ever get a true happy ending with this game, I know. But still, makes you think of the possibilities… 👀

  2. Is it confirmed by the devs that this is an official lore ? Making clones sounds very simillar to just using mikoshi as a copy of a soul, not a body.
It's kinda weird, but in my opinion Yorinobu wasn't meant to be cloned, he was supposed to be a clone for his father, his son was just a piece of meat for him that he could slip into at the end of his life, that's why yorinobu killed him and tried to escape, after finding what soulkiller is and why his father wants to use it.
Hanako on the other hand is a woman and definitely not a great material for imprinting her father into her, so that's why she helps her father get to yorinobu.

  3. I’ve always felt sorry for Yorinobu. If he really was hit with Soulkiller and placed into a cloned body, then I really want there to be an update where he helps us take down the empire his father built. He is the only member of the Arasaka family that I actually feel sorry for. Hanako seems nice, but she’s willing to cause her brother so much pain if you side with her to take back Arasaka Co.

  4. I always got the impression that Saburo knew he was dying and Yorinobu was his clone that he would use soul killer on to transfer into the new clone. He couldn’t just have a brand new clone of himself because people would ask a lot of questions. But raise a clone as his kid and then transfer when needed makes a lot of sense.

  5. if i wanted to make connection between arasaka and soulkiller and cloning and chip then i would have to assume that yorinobu is not saburo's son but saburo's clone developed physically and mentally as easy to takeover replacement structure for old bastard (son being just a title to make that family structure and make entire thing less suspicious) …. but at this point i'm not sure if i care about anything game related
