Cyberpunk 2077 is an action role-playing video game developed and published by CD Projekt Red. It is scheduled to be released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Stadia, and Xbox One on 10 December 2020, and for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S in 2021. The story takes place in Night City, an open world set in the Cyberpunk universe. Players assume the first-person perspective of a customizable mercenary known as V, who can acquire skills in hacking and machinery with options for melee and ranged combat.

Cyberpunk 2077 is played in a first-person perspective as V, a mercenary whose voice, face, hairstyles, body type and modifications, background, and clothing are customizable. Stat categories—Body, Intelligence, Reflexes, Technical, and Cool—are influenced by the character classes that players assume, which are NetRunner (hacking), Techie (machinery), and Solo (combat). V must consult a “ripperdoc” to upgrade and purchase cyberware implants; black markets offer military-grade abilities. The rarity of any given equipment is shown by a coloured tier system. V can take cover, aim, run, jump, double jump, and slide. Melee strikes can be dealt with close-combat weapons. There are three types of ranged weapons, all of which can be customised and modified—Power (standard), Tech (which penetrate walls and enemies), and Smart (with homing bullets). Ranged weapons are equipped to ricochet bullets in a target’s direction and slow them down in bullet time. Four types of damage can be inflicted and resisted—Physical, Thermal, EMP, and Chemical. Weapon use increases accuracy and reloading speed, which are manifested in character animations. Gunsmiths repair and upgrade weapons. The game can be completed without killing anyone, with non-lethal options for weapons and cyberware.

Night City is an American megacity in the Free State of North California, controlled by corporations and unassailed by the laws of both country and state. It sees conflict from rampant gang wars and its ruling entities contending for dominance. The city is reliant on robotics for everyday aspects like waste collection, maintenance, and public transportation.

  1. brad comparing legendaries: This has 1.6 more points of armor so it is infinitely better even though the other piece has 3 different effects that well outmatch the previous jacket.

Dude, play some borderlands or something and learn about gear. armor value or raw dps doesnt make something better. you have to read the effects and compare it to your build. You have done this all through this series and it is beyond irksome to us who know how that kinda gear system works. you are literally making things harder for yourself by refusing to read. or understand. and they make it really easy to understand so i dont know how you have any problems with this.

Just so you know: whites (common) is trash gear just meant to sell. Green (uncommon) is slightly better trash gear but is mostly vendor trash to sell. Blues (rare) is good gear, and you should want to be using nothing under this. Purple (epic) is great gear, this is the class of gear you want going into late game, or to pursue the best challenges in the game/replace all your blue gear. Gold & orange (legendary/mythic) is THE BEST gear possibly obtainable. These are rewards for completing the hardest of challenges and give both the best stats, and grant special effects/powers/abilities to increase you damage, survivability, or grant utility that can improve your build astronomically.
Sometimes purple gear will appear to be better then some legendries due to high base states, but are actually still very outclassed by legendries due to their legendary or mythic effects.
So dps and armor ratings are extremely superficial and should be ignored when you have gear above blue status period. no ifs, ands, or buts about it.

For over half the game you had a legendary pistol in your inventory that you didnt even try. but when you looked at the stats, it was doing over twice the damage at 1/3 rd the fire rate of that blue pistol, but since you didnt fucking read, you just compared the dps rather then the damage output.(and it was kinda like compairing a .44 magnum revolver to a .22 semi auto pistol btw) That blue pistol just ate ammo and since the actual damage was so low, was mostly absorbed by the armor of your enemies. you would have been oneshotting people in the face had you just 1. gave it a try. or 2. actually read the fucking effects.

  2. I haven't seen a single ending of this game till now. I'm waiting for brad to finish it before watching all the other endings. Also, this ending feels kinda selfish since all those people are sacrificing their lives to save ours. I hope there's one where no one has to die for out sake.

  7. I was wondering why there wasn't an option to romance Judy. But that's because for that V needs to be female. I guess that Brad needs to do another round after this one.
