Recently I played two of the most advanced and expansive open world RPGs:
Cyberpunk 2077 and the Witcher 3: the Wild Hunt. With these games CD Projekt Red made new and exciting experiences, but not flawless. Unlike other games from developers, I think they can learn from each other in many different ways. In the video I review and compare the two games. I can’t wait for what they have cooking up next. Quick question. Did you complete Johnnys personal side quest? The one where you end up at the landfill.
I must concur, side quests do have some really interesting lore tid bit just sprinkled in there.
Witcher negs it
Cyberpunk is the most boring storyline I've almost ever played the world and game after that is AWSOME
tbh, i have to disagree with the perspective of Cyberpunk. They wanted you to feel like you were V and not that you were playing as V. But also that perspective makes it a hundred times better when u are looking at the world as it really does make you feel like you are in the city. First Person Perspective also works when trying to portray what its like to have someone else in your mind, it would feel kind of meaningless if you could enter third person mode. Plus i cant disagree more when talking about side missions. You clearly havent played enough of them to really understand how good they are and that it does flow well. e.g. getting introduced to other characters that eventually call you do to their side missions. Chasing the main story too quickly also kind of ruins the game as youve barely touched half the game.
