MORE Cyberpunk 2077 VR gameplay for you to feast your eyes on (this time at 60fps) because I couldn’t accept that my first video today was as good as this new VR mod could possibly be. I spent some time tinkering with it, dropped the graphics settings to medium & changed the resolution to 1890×1890 and now we have a much more incredible & enjoyable Cyberpunk 2077 VR gameplay experience, this is the Cyberpunk VR I wanted this mod to be. I hope this part two video helps showcase how well this mod can run with a few tweaks on systems like mine, you can find links to both this Cyberpunk 2077 VR mod AND the FREE Vorpx Cyberpunk 2077 VR mod (that I haven’t tested yet) down below.

PART ONE HERE – When my settings were garbage: https://youtu.be/zN2Zuw2D-7g
Ever since launch in 2020 I’ve wanted a Cyberpunk 2077 VR mod, on launch day I actually made a Cyberpunk 2077 Will it VR video using Vorpx and the results (although a bit rough) were very impressive for a day one setup. Now over a year later we finally have the Cyberpunk 2077 VR mod that many have been waiting for, a brand new Luke Ross REAL mod that pushes the huge Nightcity into full 3D with headtracking, HUDs adjusted for VR and an overhaul which makes the game feel like a native VR experience akin to something like Resident Evil 7 on PSVR (yes there are no motion controls, this is a controller experience or keyboard and mouse at a push). However Cyberpunk 2077 in VR is no slouch, to get this game running smoothly you’ll need a fairly powerful PC that’s running next to no other processes whilst playing, on my RTX 2080, i7 9700k & 32GB RAM system I can achieve around 60fps when just playing but only 35-40 whilst playing AND recording…
The following Cyberpunk 2077 VR gameplay was captured on my Oculus Quest 2 with an airlink connection, there is no native Cyberpunk 2077 VR Quest 2 version and you will need a PC to achieve these results and play this game in virtual reality.

It looks pretty good i think i may check it out
Super late ridiculous upload but I needed to show that this runs really well with a few changes to settings – 1890×1890 resolution and graphical settings on low or medium for the very best performance on a system like mine (RTX 2080, i7 9700k and 32GB RAM)
Luke Ross VR mod v's Vopx VR mod
Side by side with your earlier video you DEFINITELY had it on high 😂 Thanks for the update, looking a lot smoother now.
Would it be possible to run this mod on a 2060 super?
Do you have dlss on and raytracing off? you can probably tweak it and get it even better if not.
I want to sub to this guys patreon but I also want to make sure it is not a huge hassle trying to get it to work. Is it easy to get this to work or is their alot involved?
Oh my God yes this is a million times better! I'm gonna have to set my graphics to medium as well! Interesting to see the frame rate difference with my rig! 🙂
How can I play this on my oculus quest 2?
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Glad you're trying the Vorpx mod, now that I've tried the Real Mod. I will say that the performance on the Vorpx one is not as good.
It does use Alternate eye Rendering but on my 2080Ti it was nowhere near as smooth. That being said the Z3D is not bad much improved from standard
vorpx.
The motion controller thing he added (apparently he is adding it to standard vorpx in the future) is really cool and I kind of miss it alot.
Thanks beardo I too like to end my day looking at a hot arse 😂🤣
FYI it's a paid mod
Why do you keep saying the Vorpx mod is free? Vorpx is $39.99 USD and let's you mod games to run in VR mode.
I'm definitely looking forward to that video🙏🏿🤞🏿
Oh yeah that's much better! Glad you got it sorted! It's funny DrGreg and I were talking about the performance on this earlier too! Big props to him for spending 2+ hours tinkering with it.🤣 Great vid, Beardo! 🍺👊
Did you had DLSS on? If you had it was it performance? Balanced? Quality?
Ive been playing around with it as well. Have you done anything particular to deal with the very zoomed in guns, particularly to aim down the sights?
The VR mod is just awesome! I have a low end card (RX 580 8 gb) but can play pretty well at a res of 1360×1360.
Hi Beardo, great video. Cyberpunk 2077 has much potential in the vr space.
can u share ur quest pc app/steam settings for best performance ?
The game is finally great
Any chance of a comparison with free mod the Vorpx creator released. Be nice to see your opinion of that one.
interested in your opinion between this and the vorpx mod with limited motion control support for raising weapons amd driving etc.
as I have been waiting to play this since launch and with the latest update might be a good time to try it again lol
I've been really disappointed by this game (the non vr version). I've played for maybe an hour after immediately buying it on release of the latest patch. After starting the masterpiece that is Elden Ring, this has gone even further down in my estimation.
nice! Still teleporty police though? 😀 6:05
is that a flying car at about 3:25 lol
What about dlss/fsr?
You can sharpen the image with reshade btw
I’d be interested in seeing how the free mod for this game runs. I’d love to play this in vr but don’t wanna pay for a mod that may not work
Dude how do you not get motion sickness?!?!
Using wheel and pedals to drive a Cyberpunk car would be next level
POV: Benjo experiences Cyberpsychosis
Anyone tried fsr on this?
Dam I wish this was a native quest 2 game…
That would rock 😄
No motion controllers… it’s just looking free VR, aim with your head?
