Did you see the thread on pcgaming about some people getting a performance boost by unlocking the memory pool budget file?
Somehow I was able to get fortnite recently to work with the steam controller again because that game just seems to hate it and if you used mouse and keyboard with controller it wouldn't let you place down any building pieces for some reason so I tried using mouse joystick and somehow I got that to work with the only issue being no acceleration (usually put it on medeum) cuz how would you do that while emulating a joystick

I see other commenters saying a new patch fixed the issue, but I'm curious if you could still use this hex edit and use a gamepad setup but change the right pad to ”mouse”. Since the prompts remain controller prompts, it would almost be like mixed input.
You don't actually need to edit the EXE file. Someone made a mod that applies multiple fixes automatically. It's called "PerformanceOverhaulCyberpunk" on GitHub. Definitely worth a look.
Ah ok i thought i was crazy. Using the stick mouse joystick i could never find the right sensitivity setting. Either couldnt turn very fast or overly sensitive aim

hi man i have an issue when im in steam the controller works fine but when i launch cyberpunk it stops working. i can play only by mouse + keyboard.
