GTA VI in a current political climate would be a suicide for folks working in Rockstar North. They would have been doxed, threatened, their families getting death threats and harassment, being fired and so forth. The only way that current staff at Rockstar North would be making a new GTA VI is to make a game ultra "woke". Would that a GTA game?

RockStar can take all can take all the time they want with GTA 6 since GTA 5 still prints money from the online. GTA Online earns so much that the devs don't really need to rush. But, when things like feature creep, restarting development, and all things lead to it being in development hell… its not good sign. The fact that a trailer hasn't come out for even conformation of development is crazy. Hopefully they don't end up stuck in over a decade of development to deliver a game that doesn't meet the quality we come to expect from Rockstar. Still having faith on it, but not good news to hear :/
