  1. Native Resolution always better, i dont like fake frames and Dlss, i can see latency and graphics issues, ghosting and more. The perfect combo are Native 4K, DLSR 1.78x and DLAA with RTSS FPS cap

  2. Just to clarify for those wondering why there's a significant performance impact, the older your tensor core generation, the greater the performance impact. This means that 20 series users will experience the most substantial performance drop compared to newer RTX card generations. You can mitigate this by using a lower DLSS preset. Instead of using Quality, switch to Balanced or Performance, which now looks much better than on older models. At 4K, DLSS Performance looks as good as 4K DLSS Quality, with only slightly softer looks 🙂

  3. IT's sad how Tensor Cores aren't offloading these new techs to save shader power. I through the transformer model would allow us to use ''performance mode'' or ''balanced mode'' with the equal quality to ''quality mode'' in CNN but with more framerate, but looks like it won't happen.

  4. Hardware nerds when the slider that doesnt actually do anything gets moved to the right: AHHH ITS HIDEOUS. Upscaling of any kind is horrible I use native resolution only! Sometimes i even make my gpu render at a resolution too high for my display but its BETTER dont you see? (Theres no difference).

Me when the game turns on: Wow its really doing it!

  5. People are already trotting out ridiculous theories about Nvidia intentionally crippling older cards with this to force them to buy newer ones.

The reality is that the new Transformer based AI model used for DLSS 4 (v 310) relies heavily on the quantity of tensor cores your graphics card has. For 40 series cards the impact is very minor, but 20 and lower end 30 series cards are seeing harder hits.

  6. I tested it on CB77 and other games, Witcher 3 and Jedi Survivor via DLSS Swapper, and in balanced mode it was on par with the quality mode of the old DLSS. I found the images clearer, this one with a 1440p monitor and 3060Ti.

  7. It's a pity this game is so shit that its just used for a performance test bench for the latest GPU's, if the gameplay was actually good then it would have been a winner on all rounds. Gun play is garbage and the animations look like it was designed by an amateur.

  8. if you have a 20/30 series the new transformer model is not worth it at all espically if you go from like 60fps to 45fps.
I myself will stick to the old Dlss 3.7/3.8 upscaling unless a new driver comes out making performance better.

  9. 4k Ultra RT with Performance DLSS (Transformer Model) just looks great, I don't know how they did it. But I read an article that the new model is 4 times heavy on the Tensor cores so a much better A.I. upscaling.
