  1. I'm glad CDPR is taking their failures to heart and working hard on clearing the storm cloud they're under.

I'm not a fan of PvP shoved into an otherwise SP/Cooper game as the goals of the game conflict unlike dedicated PvP games/modes.

While it's not for me, it would be neat if there was a Cyberpunk Online (GTA Online) type of game, but CDPR needs to have a few unmired CP games under their belt first. This will grow the positive public awareness of the franchise and also give CDPR the capital necessary to built out the team needed to support an online live-service game.

  2. Let's put this argument to bed. Both GTA v and cyberpunk had a great story. Me personally, I think cyberpunks story would take the cake if it was completely finished. I still feel as if I'm left on a cliffhanger with more to be desired. At least with gta, it was a complete game, a complete story, and it was a satisfying end. This is coming from somebody on console who doesn't have the luxury of mods to just make the game better. So all I got was what I got

  3. I don't think that Cyberpunk 1.5 would have been a competitor to GTA 5. Cyberpunk feels hollow, the city feels noninteractive, and even now is lacking many things that were promised.

  4. In regards to "redemption" of the company and the game is sadly hard to predict. In my opinion, I bought it on PS4 and endured the crashes, terrible frame rate and have since moved onto PS5. It's a fantastic game, but I had expected it to be akin to a more open world Deus EX. That is what I felt it delivered. Flaws? For sure. But I honestly believe that the hype generated and as a result, it was fighting the worst foe of all – Imagination. I recall the promo run for Prototype, they mentioned this ever changing map where you influenced the fight as a rogue third force and the Web of memories – They made it sound as if every NPC was named and could contribute to the web and expand the story and backstory. This was a lie. The ever changing battlefield was also a lie, it only changed on for the main story. When Cyberpunk was announced and as we drew closer – I looked at what other games were doing and I expected it to be more or less an open world like Deus Ex. Again, this is what I got. All the what ifs and run away expectations of features seemed to good to be true. I think we need to approach these kind of games with a healthy appreciation of what is actually possible. CDPR however, needs to get it's middle management checked. Also, The board and the main focus for ANY corporation is "Make as much money for the investors" – This is at odds with artistic vision (Hideo Kojima as an example). Every game company is more or less EA junior. EA just has a lot more presence. So CDPR can't be redeemed and CP2077 is sadly the poster child of AAA games in these modern times.

  5. I don’t want a Cyberpunk 2, I want this cyberpunk improved. I wanna stick with these characters and this story line but massively improved. I wish the side missions and gigs could actually be relevant to the story of the game. Wish to have done more missions with Jackie, and the Aldecaldos. The side missions and gigs should’ve made us feel like we are closer to saving Vs life, and after completing them we realize that we still have a long way to go as some fixers might even try to screw us over after completing the job.

  6. this game is not even nearly close to any rockstar open world game dude, it need at leask 3 more years not of bug fix but to implement sistems and functions the game does not have that where advertised

  7. I like how everyone forgives every company out there that covid happened and they expect all industries will kick start properly after 2023. And yet everyone wants to judge cyberpunk differently. Give it the chance. No mans sky took 6 years to get where it is now. Imagine Cyberpunk in 3 years from now.

But seriously. They need to add in more mods support and modder community outreach. Look at Bethesda they have been doing it since Oblivion!

  8. 16:40 I don't actually think it could be transmog, it doesn't make sense. Transmog may be a big feature, but it really isn't a complex one by any means, as all it requires to function is a slight rework of the code allowing the game to display the apparel worn in another slot instead of in the armor slot. It really would not require that much testing. It's too simple a change to be that big an issue, especially considering modders have already modded it in stably.

Generally speaking, only actual gameplay mechanics that involve interacting with other entities require a lot of testing as they may generate unexpected conflicts.

  9. What a lot of people don't know about this game is that it's just not a random story thought up by CD but the third entry in a series that goes back to 1984. This has routes in a tabletop game and personally I think anyone whether developer or player thinks it's a good idea to move forward from the IP is making a vital mistake
