Cyberpunk 2077 Topping Charts With 1 Million Daily Players Two Years After Botched Launch

Here we are, nearly two years after Cyberpunk 2077’s troubled launch and the game has been topping charts with a million daily players for the past month. It’s proof that CD Projekt Red has put the time in to fix the bugs and bring Cyberpunk 2077 back around for a second chance.

I’ve been playing it for the second time on my PS4 Slim the past couple of weeks and I’m happy to report a largely bug-free experience, which is a far cry from the game that launched two years ago. And while Edgerunners on Netflix no doubt brought a lot of people back to the franchise, what has Kept them playing the past month is the simple fact that Cyberpunk 2077 is simply a great game.

If you like RPGs, there’s no time like the present to jump in.

  1. SO well deserved. this city is everything. so gorgeous and immersive and…you can "feel" it. yeah the further you play, the more and dumber the bugs appear. quests are broken. but mainly neglectable sidequests (then again, its like pokemon, gotta catch em all!). the AI is……but still THIS INCREDIBLE MAP.
who cares about GTA 5 anymore. night city is IT. i will now say something very very perverse that i will regret:
if they would do an online-multiplayer with THAT map…..

  2. It's so hot right now.

Honestly even I'm thinking of getting it and it's really not my type of game. But you can play with a controller and I think you can slow the action down a bit. I just wish it weren't so story driven. Hoping for a more open world dlc.
